It was illegal. Hall is an awesome player who is usually a clean player. It was a dirty hit plain and simple. You target a players head with an elbow extended its dirty. Nothing you can say will convince me otherwise. If Hall stayed on his feet and it was his shoulder it would have been fine - mdw7413
If he just accepted the flying elbow none of this would've been an issue

Can we get back to how much Brady Skeij blows? His performance last night was so bad it reminded me of the days of when we had Dave Karpa. I can’t stand watching him anymore be soft on the end boards in his own zone constantly losing battles. Guy is soft in front of his own net. Brings very little offensively. Am I being to harsh? Idk this guy is such a disappointment and if this franchise things he is a top pair d-man they need to re-evaluate themselves.

how to be a homer 101. Clear as day in the video link I posted that Hall doesn't leave his feet to make the hit. His feet come up after the contact has been made, because physics ya know.
Fox gets scared and falls backwards (His Franking Knee is almost on the ice as contact is being made)
And if you watch the video and click play/pause rapidly and scrobble through the slow motion, Halls shoulder makes the contact not his elbow.
48.1 Illegal Check to the Head – A hit resulting in contact with an
opponent’s head where the head was the main point of contact and
such contact to the head was avoidable is not permitted.
In determining whether contact with an opponent's head was
avoidable, the circumstances of the hit including the following shall be
considered:
(iii) Whether the opponent materially changed the position of his body
or head immediately prior to or simultaneously with the hit in a way
that significantly contributed to the head contact

“I saw him coming when I turned, tried to brace for a little,” said Fox,
LOLOL Fox even admits he "braced" aka changed his point of contact - rcerick
If you watch in slow motion it doesn’t really show the hit at it’s full magnitude. I have played hockey me entire life. Hall had full intention with coming to lay someone out with that speed. Whether you think it was a dirty hit or not you see Hall lean with his elbow/forearm not his shoulder. At no point did Hall try to make a play on the puck. Actually doesn’t even look at the puck. Total run at the player. I sense some frustration from him. He isn’t the type of player to do something like that.

Most people who aren't leaving their feet when hitting don't do a summersault through their target.
And if it wasn't an illegal hit, why was there a penalty.
You are the classless poster-child for Devils fans.

No I dont know please explain to me the laws of physics. So what you are saying using the Laws of Physics, after you walk into something you immediately leave you feet and fly into the air??
