How many times did nj lost a game down by 4 or 3 goals? We dont want that we want to keep pressuring the defenders if the opponent has more ozone time we have more chance of giving a goal its not that hard to understand.. - bonecrrusher
Whether it's right or wrong is largely irrelevent. It happens. Not to the extent it's happening tonight, but, have you been overly worried about the Kings? I haven't been. |

Despite the brutal Corsi tonight. It was a huge response. They were running scared last night. They did a great job keeping almost all chances to the outside tonight, the Kings had a few in tight and Hutton was up to the task. It was a good win.
This was the perfect example of a team just throwing everything at the net, never really getting anything dangerous out of it. |

Hutton was great. Back in first place. Life is good. |

Im not sure if i was maybe last year collapse was playing in my head i remember when they were up 3-2 against tampa in the 3rd last year during their 10wins and they lost i was scared as (frank) against florida...they lost in ot after a lead again and it was all downhill from there so yeah it was in the back of my mind after that loss against the ducks |

Sure, I get it. I was never worried tonight. Last night was a different story entirely. The Ducks took it to them, the Sabres had no answer. Tonight, they let the Kings in and gave them only, for the most part, low danger stuff.
Maybe, for me, it's as simple as having that much more confidence in Hutton than I do Ullmark. |

47 save SO. Holy crap. Didn’t feel like Hutt was under siege that bad, but 47 saves is 47 saves.
Great to see Mitzy and that line come alive. |

Bad night for Flacco so far - Der Kaiser
The Broncos’ Joe Flacco-led offense was an overflowing gas station toilet of ass in the team’s Thursday matchup against the Chiefs. Denver only just made it over 200 yards of total offense for the day thanks to a couple garbage time running plays, while Flacco threw for 213 yards, completing 21 of his 34 attempts, but 72 of those yards were offset by a collection of eight sacks.
It’s incredible how this man was traded for a fourth rounder. How Flacco’s teammates don’t go up and threaten him with violence at the end of every drive is beyond me when he’s making throws to nowhere like that, missing open receivers in other parts of the field and occasionally leading teammates to their doom like he did when he gave Phillip Lindsay the Lamar Jackson treatment.

Right? He saw everything, even the really dangerous ones, and he only had to make a few hard saves. |

We need a team to Win in WoW Fashion.
Check
We need a team to respond to physical drubbing
Colin Miller is really good at Defense
The Joker is too good to be sent down
Risto was MOST improved after last night, which hurt more than the rest as he is one of our Only Big Tough Guys and he played like he was shell shocked last night.
I liked the way Jack's line was not going to be scored on tonight, they weren't greedy and look for pts for themselves rather they played for their team-mates.
I like this team
and we will get even better.

He looks so much more in control than Linus. Even when Ullmark is making a routine save, he looks like he's flailing. |

I have not been a Mittlestadt fan, but last night he sent two passes through the crease, and another one or two in front that looked very good. I know Vessey missed one, but he looked promising if he had some skilled forwards to work with - Wyohomeboy
Rewarded for his efforts with 2 goals tonight... I hated him last year, but put him on the 2nd, move Sobotka to Vesey and Zombie, and move Joha to wing. Formidable 2nd line I believe. |

Why move him, if that line with Mitts, Vesey, Sheary can keep it going then you have 3 good lines and a 4th that has been really good at controlling play |

Great bounce back game for the Sabres and the Mitts line. Now go into the Shark tank, play hard and go home with 4 of 6 points. |

Zucker is interetsting with his production last year, his $5.5M cap hit, and I believe they tried to trade him last year?
I've advocated for Tyler Toffoli, and how different is Zucker, especially being signed for 3 more seasons when Toffoli is a pending UFA? |

So being on the ice for 2 scoring chances for and 26 against is a good night ? Analytics say the 19-55 pairing was an absolute nightmare last night. |
