The Wild are in trouble, they have a old team, they might be willing to move Zucker for a Dman, say Risto +Asplund. Then they could move some other pieces for prospects or picks. Other then Kunin they really don't seem to have many decent prospects.

I will admit I was annoyed that Botts only added players and did no player subtraction but how can you argue against it now? The Larson line is doing what they are supposed to do and we have talent in the system ready to move up and inject more points into this team. On top of that, we've got players that could be moved if necessary. This depth is nice.

Pekar was a Center, he will be a interesting character, he can play wing to. Plus that kid they just signed, went back over seas, Rust, a poop I don't know how to spell it , he had a decent camp, and Davidsson to.

I'd be surprised if the plan isn't Jack, Cozens, Mitts, Asplund down the middle 2 years from now (maybe even 1). I can't see them counting on Davidsson or Pekar as C's in that time frame.

Nothing. I remember hearing Staal was going to retire if Minnesota didn't resign him. He doesn't want to play anywhere else.
