Your team is fine, with a load of good young talent and speed. But if the Sabres actually agree with the author that last night was a playoff-like atmosphere or game, they're in big trouble. That was an exciting regular season game...that is all.

I only had to read one page back to once again see all of the 'Coaches' in here questioning a real coaches decision to start Ullmark last night.

Redundant retardedness will always live on here, is plain to see.🤦‍♂️

I take offense to this word. Please post your hate elsewhere.

The Sabres need to keep playing with speed and not get intimated. They can beat the kings or any slower tougher western conference team

Also based on last night ... the Sabres are still mentally weak.

This road trip and the home game against SJ will give us a good idea how they stack up to generally tougher/stonger teams.
Let's see how it plays out.

They let Anaheim get into there head, hopefully they take last night and learn from it, see if they have matured from last year

Yup I agree. Based on yesterday.

Goalie needs to improve, dahlin and Risto too.

very sloppy passing all the way around

I reserve judgement to see how they respond tonight and saturday night

might have been a fluke

if they play .600 on the road this season, nobody should complain

I really think people are making way too big a deal out of Anaheim being physical.

They looked tired and out of sync.

It’s not like they were shying away from contact or afraid to skate with the puck.

They got pressured and made some bad passes

my biggest issue is they had 1 goal scored near the end of the first period, not count
then another goal in the last 30 seconds that did count

what happened in the first minute of the second period, another goal

coach has to settle them down when the sticks are gripped tight

Dahlin was a major contributor to that first ducks goal (one that didn’t count) and the 2nd ducks on the same shift. It was bad. That whole shift by him

I know you are being sarcastic but right now his minutes are justified. He needs to play a lot better

Anaheim turned the script on them with about 5 min left in the first, and the physicality had something to do with that, and then after that they just kept up the pressure. And your right they did look tired, 1 day off and a trip out West could of had something to do with that

Wyshynski asked a bunch of hockey analysts/writers what their least favorite fancy stat is. I know this is a favorite topic around these parts, so enjoy.

Why not try getting a new whipping boy. His points and Corsi stats say he’s doing just fine. He’s plus one while jack is -3 so I guess Jack sucks too. I can only imagine the hate you’d have for him if he had a turnover like Risto did on goal #2 against last night or himself out of position as Risto did on goal #4. And I think Risto has played a lot better this year, albeit not last game.

Love how our “fans” nit-pick our superstars

Not if you or someone close to you has a challenged person in their life. It’s an ignorant word to use in a derogatory context, especially for a self proclaimed man of god.

I rarely complain around here but that guy really irritates me.

This is our first back to back today. Yes he should get a get a start in a back to back but Huton has a great performance and then wham on the bench the next game.
- hubie

Ullmark had a good record against Anaheim.

Although he is 3-0 in his career against the Kings?.....

All that means for him is he found a guilt-free way to be an insufferable bumhole

As a guy who had a handicapped sister, I can tell you there were many of fights on the playground because of that word.

There are better words to use.
