If that is scientifically possible, I would also like that.
Quebec City still has a need for a sports team.. I don't think the NHL should explore what type of hockey market there in Bismarck, North Dakota or Boise, Idaho. - PatC80
As much as I would like the Nordiques to come back.
I don't think it's happening anytime soon. |

When Melnyk sells the team. I hope they move to Quebec... The Nordiques need to make a comeback.. I sincerely hope Ottawa doesn't relocate to North Dakota. - PatC80

My theory on the kid has always been this:
Growing up, his skating was so superior to his opponents that he never had to become great at passing it out - he would always skate it out.
He can't always do that anymore at the NHL level - so when he gets boxed in, he has absolutely no idea what to do with it. You can smell his panic. - Atomic Wedgie
Sounds about right. They've only got one set play in the D zone if they feel pressure, so it should be pretty easy for him to remember. |

Well, as in trying to score, I guess. Turnovers in the offensive zone aren't going to get your ass stapled to the bench. |

Ottawa is twice as large as Quebec City. While I would like to see a successful franchise in Quebec, I wouldn't want to see Ottawa lose theirs. I'd like to see a better situated arena and an owner who cares about the team.
I would also like them to always be worse than us, but draft lower. Is that so wrong? - Monkeypunk

My parents have always been ambivalent or against technology trends and have said for a lifetime that "we don't need a big screen tv, those things are monstrosities"
Now at age 70+, I gave them the 40" TV to replace the 30" samsung lcd from the days of yore and when I ask them how it's working out for them I get a sheepish "it's pretty good" - TheMussel
My mother wanted a flat screen TV when they were relatively new.
I thought "cool" and helped them buy one.
She had no idea it was higher definition than her old CRT - she just liked the fact that it was thin, so it could sit on a table instead of being it's own piece of furniture in the room.
I laughed at first, but damn, she's right. It freed up a lot of room in the basement. |

Yup. thin TVs are pretty neat. Wallmounting is pretty cool too if you have the money to have the cable routing done right |

I think they deserve a team again, that was a great rivalry in the 80's/90's |

If we get some better d play by the team, the goaltending will be better and we’ll win more games. |

Yup, if we limit the amount that the other team is able to score, while simultaneously scoring more goals than the other team, it's probably a recipe for winning. |
