“It’s going to be each individual guy from Bruce on down,” Zucker said via Mike Russo “Bruce has got to be better. We’ve got to be better. Everybody’s got to be better. That’s it.” - BINGO!

When the team allows 1 timers from everywhere, I don’t tend to blame it on the tender.
Score from behind/beside - no traffic top of the circle then I look at the tender - Garnie
Andersen is a decent NHL goalie.
He's definitely not Vezina calibre though.
And he tends to deflate during the playoffs (happened with the Ducks, and with Leafs again).
Having Andersen won't prevent Leafs at all in being able to make a Stanley Cup run - he's not singlehandedly going to win a lot of games for them though.
I always think of him as a Crawford type of goalie - I think Chicago won 2 SC with him in goal, but nobody really lists him as one of the top goalies of the last decade.. (and rightfully so). |

I think If the leafs could make it further into the playoffs Anderson would play better. He always takes a while to settle in. Even though he had a full season, playoff hockey is different. |

Yeah. He's also getting the 3rd most ice time on the team among forwards, so.... |

The insufferable ones are only those bandwagoners that have been a fan of the Hawks since the spring of 2010.. A lot of their actual fans are pretty knowledgeable. |

Agreed. This site seems to harbor a lot of those you described, though. Original question was about HB. I have quite a few good friends who are Chicago fans and good people, though. |

With respect to HB, it has to be Maple Leaf fans, or rather those that pretend to be Maple Leafs fans. Specifically; Max, UG and JFJ.

Max is like the cousin that hangs around and you just have to (try to) ignore. UG is in a category of (frank)dumb all by himself |
