So is this bash Toews week? Just trying to figure out which one of the men who helped hang THREE banners in our stadium is a piece of poop. |

2 bubble teams that probably find themselves in the 9-11 spots in their respective conferences when it’s all said and done.
Don’t like the top 2 lines AT ALL. Lehner is the future in net BTW. |

They hired him out of New York or Detroit or something. Sounds like a televangelist or infomercial hawker. |

He hasn’t look good all season. Also had a brutal turnover on the PP. Wasn’t aware he was immune to criticism.

Lol the 3rd one was almost 5 years ago. Let’s live in the present. Hawks haven’t won a playoff series since June 2015. |

And Toews is to blame for that, totally. All his fault. "Live in the present"? Yes, so it's good to bash the (frank) out of guy who put 3 banners into the gym. Sorry dude, that earns him some respect in my eyes. If you get your jollies off bashing him, go for it.
He scored the (frank)ing game winning goal tonight and ... he's still getting ripped. What a crock. |

Anyone else think Nylander looked a bit better? Skating harder and seemed to actually try and play D and engage along the boards.
Smiths actually had a solid game. Don’t see the need for him and Carpenter though.
Smith Kampf Caggiula is a nice 4th line of Dach can play 3C. |

Maybe one less beer tonight bud. I have not made a comment about Toews poor play since summer 2018.
The reality is that the NHL is an extremely competitive league and the Hawks are very average. Dach, Boqvist, Mitchell and another top 10 pick next summer should help them get back into contention.
Lehner is just entering his prime as a goalie. |

All season - like 5 games.
Jamie Benn is available according to the owner of this site, why doesn't Stan try to dump washed up #19 for him, or for Zach Parise or Kopitar or PK Subban or Getzlaf.
Toews has always been a slow starter, he will be fine. |

Aside from having the puck bounce off his leg he’s been a ghost this season. He isn’t above criticism. That breeds complacency and a sense of entitlement. He gets paid to play winning hockey and be an elite player. Don’t see you female doging when Kane gets ripped on. He helped put those 3 banners up too. |

To the theme of Brian Adams song "Summer of 69", no?
Whatever dude, I'm not keeping score, just think it's laughable to beat up a dude on the team after he actually won the goddamn game.
Maybe you need more beer. |

Not to mention that TO was on Kane. Toews was 3 feet away from him and Kane put the pass behind him. Wasn't much Toews could do but try to reach back to try to get the puck to Gus. Toews had all his momentum going forward.
