I’m not advocating trading him but he needs to play better. I’m tired of the he is a slow starter crap. He’s a paid professional. Show up ready to play game 1 of the season.

Somehow the coach thought enough of his play to give him 22 minutes.

And you don't play in the NHL unready to play. That gets a player killed by one of many nasty wieners in the league - like Dustin Brown or Radko Gudas or Ovy.

Anyone else think Nylander looked a bit better? Skating harder and seemed to actually try and play D and engage along the boards.

Smiths actually had a solid game. Don’t see the need for him and Carpenter though.

Smith Kampf Caggiula is a nice 4th line of Dach can play 3C.

Nylander didn't play much but I agree he looked good in limited time.

His play away from the puck was really strong. He worked his butt off and is trying to make his way back up to the first line.
