He only knows how to play one way and when he changes he will be out of the league.

LMAO. Oh my. "ignore the punctuation"...."so are you the person who murdered all those people???". A question is asked, but guilt is implied. But that's probably above your pay grade.

At any rate, criticism of any player is fine, but when it appears to be an agenda I beg off. That's your gig, you had ZERO posts that were not bashing a single player on our team. That's a problem.

Literally posted about Nylander and Smith right after the game. You responded to the post. I expect more from 19 than playing a solid game and 2 points in 5 games. He’s supposed to be one of the best players in the league and he isn’t. It was a nice shot block and it was good to see him drive the net but 3rd and 4th line guys can do that. He’s paid to do much more and I haven’t seen it this year. I have 2 19 sweaters hanging in my closet. I’m not a basher. Just high expectation for the guy who should be the best player on the Hawks.

And I’m actually an attorney but thanks for the 4th or 5th personal attack on me.

Of course! 200k in student loan debt for a pieces of paper that are worthless. And it’s racking up 6-7% interest a year too.

Actually know an attorney that is also a full time airline pilot. He has someone cover court for him. Not a bad set-up. Lots of down time flying to get the lawyer poop done.

He’s an even bigger bumhole than me.

There are a lot of pilots with second jobs, and I know several who are attorneys. Lots of down time for motivated types to double dip on careers. I’m not that motivated

Hawks looked bad in center ice and on the forecheck.

That being said, who else is loving how this D corps has improved? De Haan is solid, but knew he would be, and Maata is nice surprise. Maata especially makes good first reads and passes.

Well I hope he’s a better pilot than attorney. He’s definitely making some good coin though. Billing hourly while getting paid to fly. Nice way to double dip.

@SBekovic

Kirby Dach has been recalled by the #Blackhawks from his conditioning stint in Rockford.

Sounds like he was getting pounded on down there - may be safer up here. Guess we shall see if this is a recall to send to Saskatoon or if he gets a game at least.

ETA: Maybe introducing him to the league against d-bag Tom Wilson isn't the brightest,

Nice brawl, Edmondson - Manson
- LAHawk

I’ll take either one of those guys as a 5-6 D man on this team, other than Shaw , not really anyone else to provide the rough stuff when needed. If you had one of those guys in the line up every nite then you could feel a little more comfortable about playing a kid like a Dach against players like Tom Wilson.
You guys hate him , but he is one of those guys that if he would ever put on a Hawk jersey some opinions would change.
Hopefully Dach plays Sunday nite. Looking forward to seeing the kid get started.

Every other tweet was about him getting hit, being pushed into goalie, shoved into boards, etc.

AEL can tell us the reality.

Go Kane! Could (and should, knock wood) make it to #1 before end of year

StatsCentre
@StatsCentre

Via the 1st of his 2 assists in helping his @NHLBlackhawks grab a 3-2 OT win over the Blue Jackets Friday night, Patrick Kane moved into 4th on a list he stands to top by season's end (and perhaps with 1000 points to his name as well)

Paging intrepid Hogs reporter - hey foxy, any word on why Boqvist didn't play tonight?

Since Rockford was playing the Chicago Wolves - it was on local ch50 in the Chicago area so I got to watch a lot of the Hogs game tonight in between Hawks action. Dach had a couple nice plays but he also got run a couple times by guys bigger than him.

Sikura looked pretty good and got a goal and a few others looked pretty good too - but the guy who stood out to me was Fortin. The guy seemed to be all the fastest guy on the ice, getting in on the forecheck and beating guys to the puck. Quenneville scored a shortie but t was Fortin that made the play.

Tyler said Boqvist was hit in the mouth with a puck during practice, hence the benching for the game.

For the limited time he played, Nylander looked good. With Lehner splitting time with Crow, the Hawks are going to be in a lot of games late. Great feeling to have two good goalies.

I suggest that the progression in Dach game at Rockford was noticeable at minimum aftet tonight's contest. It seemed that he was getting lots of sciring opportunities. On the offensive sidr he sure did not serm timid. I onow some folks saw the game....how was Dach's physical effort & aggressiveness?

I bet 5hat Bowman is intrigued by Dach"s game....to the point of how quick or soon will he be a consistent force in scoring and defense? Give him 9gp as long as yiu ser progress and not struggling much. Is he playing with confidance? I mean probsbly his first pro game in the AHL and after the initial first game when he had to feel reassured inside his own pych about the concussion.....to being quite noticeable and having been promoted to too line in Rockford....you really should let him play some NHL and see how he does. He is only 18 but so what...again i say let him.play a few NHL games.

AEL, any reason given for the Boqvist scratch?
- pdx2ord

Just saw Tyler's post. Boqvist with puck to the mouth in practice.

Sorry, late to the party. Was offline Friday evening and didn't watch either Hogs or Hawks game until late at night (recordings).

Boqvist hasn't really stood out in the first 3 games. Not bad by any stretch but also not making his mark as an elite prospect.

Entwistle has also been noticeably scratched the last 2 games.

Very ugly.

Hawks didn't deserve that one but need wins like that.

- Tyler Cameron

Deserve has nothing to do with it, why couldn't Columbus score, all those shots all those chances and they could only score 1 goal, Dubois should have gone to the box, that was interference, holding, sling shoting whatever you want to call it.

Another game, 2 goals allowed in regulation, NHL goalie, 5 NHL dmen, i know Toews is a slow starter but he's got to cover his guy in front of the goalie.

Look at that a big goose egg on the PK, thankfully the ref blew the whistle on the breakaway goal.

Don't care how many shots a team gets, it's who gets them that really matters that's why they get ther big bucks.

Yeah, Dach had been getting rubbed out with a lot of high hits and extra-curriculars after whistles. Not sure it will be any better in the NHL. Hopefully his linemates stick up for him more.

Dach was generally quiet in his initial set of AHL games but when he's in a groove he really shows off his strength, reach, and skill to dominate puck possession and create scoring chances.
