This loss is on Dach. The locker room was distracted with his first game. - Chief4Feathers
Can't believe you're letting Sikura off the hook. This one's on him. |

AdB floating around instead of rotating down to cover Toews spot. - StLBravesFan
I don't know the common denominator has been Toews, Gusto and deHasn,
This game Toews Seabs and Maata another shift a guy wide open in 1st period Toews on the ice again and he seems to be the only forward not covering anyone |

When it comes to hockey I’d rather have the sh it than the Charmin. |

That guy's the worst 6th round pick since Tom Brady (note to Elbows, Brady plays football). |

At least Sikura never went out of his way to deflate a hockey puck.. |

Cool, thank you! I’ll take it ,When it comes to players like Andrew Shaw and Tom Wilson.
I think the type of hockey you are looking for, you could find it on Sunday mornings down at Johnny’s icehouse West ,If I am not mistaken they still have,a real good Sunday morning Elite league .it is up and down and no check hockey. All very good skaters mostly employed in the business world. |

Yeah, good one. There’s no difference between physical hockey and being a douchebag. Got it. Thanks. |

My favorite part of tonight's game was an after the whistle meeting of Wilson and Dach...It reminded me of the way the less dominant monkey would put it's eyes down endnote stare into the alfa....I swear that happened.. that #77 looked down after going to the net to avoid eye contact with Wilson.

I started watching bunch of highlights of past games it doesn't look like anyone is responsible for the forward in front of the net, they all watch the puck and drift towards it trying to stop the pass instead of cover the forward parked in front of the net. Not good |

You’re favorite part of the game was not part of the actual game? Explains a lot. |

JC's system call for the front of the net to be uncovered. It is not the fault of the players. |

I'm not blaming Toews for this loss but he has to be better for the Hawks to have a legit shot at the playoffs. Aside from the two poor plays he made that led to goals in this game - he's playing more like he did in 2017/18 than like he did last season. The dynamic skating isn't there and unless he can recapture the jump he had last season the Hawks will be hard pressed to make the playoffs.
Someone please remind DeBrincat that he is a shooter and shooters are supposed to shoot rather than pass up shots to make a pass.
Someone hypnotize Gustafsson and erase the 60 point season from his memory so he can stop pressing to live up to last season and just play easy.
Someone bottle the formula used on Nylander to get him to play with unafraid urgency.
Other than all that I thought the Hawks played a pretty good game - more like the well played game against Edmonton than the poorly played game against Columbus. |

Not at 1st but when the puck goes low and starts going out high or 5050 the dman tries to pressure the puck the other dman slides over to puck side, all forwards kind of watch in space and the opposing forward just stands on the other side of the net
Every line seems to play it the same way, it just happens right now they convert more with the captain on the ice. |

Was away overseas, I have a source in Greece.
First game I've seen this season. Shaw has to be smarter, dumb penalties in the offensive zone are unforgivable. A PeeWee coach needs to take Gus aside and explain that a defenseman's job on a two on one is to ensure he prevents a cross ice pass and that snow angels are to be done in the snow, not on the ice.
I see Enzo was correct, Dach is the first line center over Toews.

I saw that too but I think there is a good percentage of NHL players that would do the same. Wilson is a bad MF'er and I'd rather have the recently concussed Dach demure to a guy looking for an excuse to light him up than have him feel froggy and get knocked into tomorrow.

always fun here during post game losers...
alot of gus hate
ogie reminding us again and again and again he hates shaw
once again guys loose in front as toews does a flyby with wilson right at this back
6 1 goal games to start the season...4-5 years ago they win most of those not anymore...
8 games at home to start now 2-2-1 and with 3 left = not good
1 regulation win in 6 games = very not good

you are correct that has happened 6 or 7 times recently...number 19 has been guilty for most of those..

Nylander needs to be on a line with Kane and Toews/Strome....a line with Nylander and Kane can be fun to watch...Kane needs another playmaker on his line |
