Myers doesnt make sense as the player being sent down is a forward..
Of the others I would rather see Farabee in there before Stewart.
Not sure it makes sense either playing a young kid like that 7 mins on the fourth line.

I dont disagree that this team could probably benefit by 2-3 of the young talent getting called up but I also dont disagree that this team is perhaps the softest Flyers team ever in the history of all history. I know game has changed, fighting isnt a thing, hitting isnt a thing the Flyers do anymore, playing physical has no place on this team..All of the lines the 200 foot or bust group likes to roll out there but as shown by the Oilers team other teams are still certainly to play physical along with having highend talent.

TK's best skill-set is without a doubt his shooting ability. He takes shots from any angle, and consistently delivers them with accuracy and speed. Not that the shtick of "sniper" is even important, but what else would he be categorized as? He's definitely not a 2-way player, and he typically prefers shooting over making an extra pass.

it's actually just over 12% the players I mentioned have higher shooting % than konency except maybe Ovechkin but we know he just flings the puck at the next for fun and scores 40-50 goals regularly

For fun, can you rank your current top 31 goal scorers? At the end of the season, I would love to see where TK ranks. 40/50-goal scorers don’t grow on trees and most teams don’t have one.

YES HE IS!!! His shooting percentage is 13%. Flyer fans are the biggest idiots in the world. To think tk is a sniper means they obviously only watch flyers. Not even the teams they play. Tk is a nice player for sure but to say sniper or even good goal scorer is just flyerdom.

With all due respect to TK I think that's a reach. Playing alongside Pastrnak has allowed Marchand to put up stellar numbers.

I don't know about that. Beyond Marchand's scoring, he is also a strong two way winger and PKer. I don't see that in Konecny's game.

I get your point and I think Konecny is going to continue to grow as an offensive player. We're seeing some of that already. I just doubt that he's ever going to develop the two way acumen equal to what Marchand has.

Was Marchand a 200 foot player at the same stage in his career? Not being snarky either, I honestly don't know so I am asking.

That being said if TK delivers the offensive output of Marchand without the 2 way player part I am okay with that. I know that differs from the desire that every player has to be a 200 foot player but I just dont think that is the only way to build a winner.
