Mittlestadt made a really strong move to the net in the 3rd period of the Ducks game. Looked a little Eichel-esque. In a game that didn't have a lot of positives, it really jumped out at me.

He doesn't help maintain the forecheck or cycle down low, he isn't a playmaker, is no stud defensively, Goallafson has stolen his jam on the PP. I like having as many talented players on the team as possible but I have a feeling this 9 mil is going to kick us in the butt well before 8 years.

Imagine Goalfson playing on that second line instead of Skinner... That line would be terrible. Him and MoJo are doing good work together and they are dragging Sobodka along for the ride.

Sobotka has the puck just outside our blue line: Skinner is alone between the blue line and center ice. Sobotka doesn't even try to make the pass. There are going to be games that line is invisible because we have 2/3rds of a line
