Wow that’s great - I thought he was around 6’
Our pipeline is stacked. I actually like Fitzgerald too and of course Pilut but those two might not have a shot with our depth. I don’t think Borgen or Samuelsson is players GMJB would trade. If you watched the Anaheim game, They’re exactly what we could have used in that game - turbo044
They are stacked, we all now the obvious but there still

WGR saying this morning that the Sabres have "regressed to last year's tendencies" the past few games hahahahaha okay guys, 4 GA and 2 SO in the past 3 games but regressing to last year, right. |

Zucker not happy in Minny. Called out Boudreau as well as his entire team:
"I think more than (a meeting's) going to have to jump start us to be honest with you. It’s going to be each individual guy from Bruce on down," Zucker told Michael Russo of The Athletic. "Bruce has got to be better. We’ve got to be better. Everybody’s got to be better. That’s it."
Okposo, Scandella and a 4th (bump it up to a 2nd if need be)
for
Zucker and Foligno
Minny likes older guys from Minnesota, so perhaps they would have interest in KO. This would clear a little more than $1.5m in space as well.
Also, Guerin is the GM there now and played with KO for a couple years with the Isles. - adambuffalo
I think it will take a few months for them to recognize that a rebuild is in order. They are old and hoping their vets can turn it around. They won’t be interested in Okposo and Scandella type players, they will want prospects and picks.
Most of their guys have NMCs but Eric Staal does not. He is 34, has two years at 3.something million and imo would be a great addition to our team. Big, tough, could play 2C and add a lot of leadership and experience. He’s been in the playoffs and he played with Skinner.
That’s who I would be targeting. A prospect and a pick for him close to the trade deadline. Then we use a dman + whatever it takes to get another top six who’s big and tough to help for the playoff style hockey that we aspire to play at the end of the year. |

they dominated the stars game
I can see the sloppy passing and suspect D on the last 2 games but that's normal for west coast trips
and they got 4 out of 6 points |

West Coast trip hasn't been easy for them, played a couple good periods. But with 1 day travel and no time to acclimate. Let's see what SJ brings, think they play a lot better with the day off. |

WGR guys are a joke- not sure how they keep their jobs. Sal is the only one that is listenable. They’re either homer’s (Murphy and tasker) or downers - that puppy guy and his partner who come on at 3pm. The instigators are fine I guess |

they have Hughes and Hischier

Guess he would have no choice, other then retire, but Staal only resigned and didn't already retire because he got to stay in Minnesota |

with the chiefs down, I would go after him
it's shaping up to be a 4 team race until the chiefs get back and the chiefs did not look so great with maholmes the last few weeks

I agree with this. If he’s healthy. He would be great for Allen. He’s hurt every year. That is honestly his only issue. |

Yeah I thought they actually played better vs Anaheim than LA. Many more chances offensively vs Anaheim they just played a good goalie, missed some open nets and got a below average (maybe average) performance from Ullmark. In LA, other than the Middelstadt line they generated very little offense. They won cuz of puck luck (and the kings lack of offensive skill) and cuz of Hutton, of course. SJ will be interesting, hoping for at least a point (they played well lately) |

The Sabres pay Peters and river and the bills pay tasker and Murphy. Of course they aren’t going to say anything bad about the teams or players.
I don’t hare schoop and the bull dog or white. They are fine. Aren’t great but are fine |

winning 1 out of 3 on a Western swing this early in the season is not even a bad thing, especially with the small amount of time off before heading out there. of you can get 2/3 points out of the 6 possible, it's a success.
Young team, gellin' like fellons... If this were a Western swing in March and they dropped 2 out of 3, then we should question their resolve.
I think we win tonight in OT or a SO and then again Monday, San Jose never plays us well, especially in Buffalo.

Depending on the cost I would go after Stefon Diggs. I know it would cost more, but he is younger and under contract. Another option would be Emmanuel Sanders. |

I doubt Risto is getting traded, however if you are looking at a team like Vegas these proposals are off quite a bit. Tuch for Risto and Tage? Tuch signed exactly one year ago today for 7 years. His contract is good, but this would be a one for one trade. We wouldn't be adding Tage or anything else. Like what was posted, Vegas is in a position of need. Smith for Risto and a prospect? I know people want a second line winger to take Sobotka's spot, but Smith is not the answer. Taking away one of our only physical forwards for a small guy to make us softer does not make any sense. Again, we would not be adding any prospects in this proposal and if we were to add anything, I would ask for Reeves back as well.
Saw this yesterday:
"However, it seems like those teams will have to shop elsewhere. Pierre LeBrun has revealed on Thursday night’s Insider Trading on TSN that Ristolainen is now hoping to stay in Buffalo after making the comments that Ralph Krueger is the best coach he has ever had in his professional career.
This seems to be the change Ristolainen was looking for to perform better, therefore it is believed the Sabres will stop looking for suitors for his services. " - adambuffalo
Meh.
I can't see LV giving away Tuch on a 1:1 deal for Risto...I still think they would want something else...at least I would anyway.
Tuch displaces Tage for the future on the right side, and upgrades Sobotka for the present. I'd be willing to make it attractive to fill a huge position of need on the Sabres. I'm not sure I agree that LV is in a position of need either...but adding another RhD should be attractive for them.
For me, if I was a GM I would give zero consideration to a player now saying they want to stay...and it is conjecture on LeBrun's part anyway...but who cares? I mean it is na nice to have, but upgrading the roster should be his only consideration in that regard. It is much, much different than if a player says they want out..which again conjecture was that he had. If he gets pushed down to 3rd pairing, does he then change his mind...probably. |

Ahh thanks, didn’t know that. I wonder why he didn’t demand a NMC? Either way, I wonder if he would want to move to a team going to the playoffs for one last chance at a cup? |
