Thompson is going to need a much more physical 2 way game to take Vlad's spot. - TheSabresTaco
According to the clown, Tage will be up in the next couple weeks to take Sobotka's spot. |

Lockport line - turbo044
Not saying now because it's working, just saying he will fizzle and we will have to adjust. |

His production was inevitably going to drop when moved off of Eichel's line. It would be nice if he had some talent on his other wing. - Angler
He's on pace for 40 goals and 60 points.
He's right where he was last season. |

From living in St. Louis for the better part of 17 years, I can assure you Vlad's effort will become wildly inconsistent sooner than later - lulags
would you say hes consistent at being inconsistent?

We could need to find some cap space to make that happen. Not against the move. Just saying our cap space is tight. |

In 4 games he has 2g 3a and is + 3. This includes an overtime winner and he also added a shootout winner if I'm not mistaken. Don't know what their plan is, but I could see him coming up sooner rather than later. |

Someone has to be sent down. Could be as simple as Gilmour, when Montour is back. Feels crazy to mention ERod, but it's possible. Someone would also have to sit, which I don't think they are ready to do.

Dream scenario is somehow trading Scandella and Bogo. If I needed defense I think I'd be interested in that trade.... Jets? - Angler
I'd like to see Bogo under Kreuger. And as someone said during the Anaheim game, his rugged presence was missed |

Tage always had the raw skill, he just had the body of a 14 year old girl. If he puts the weight on and the commitment to playing better without the puck he’ll be a good player. He’s got something like 15 points in his last 13 AHL games and was their best player last year in the playoffs. He is an NHL player for sure just a question if he can continue to develop into a top 6 scoring forward of if he’s a middle 6 tweener who plays on PP2 |

I remember him struggling to get back to game speed before, hard not to expect that again.

Yup. This is true. The Sabres should shelve him for the entire year |

Nico Hischer is about to sign a 7 X 7.25 -7.5MM deal apparently.
Is that good or bad, I honestly don't know? |

I think Bogo is probably shot. Even at his best, I dont think he's better than anyone on this roster currently |

Who would you sit in order for Bogosian to play, assuming no injuries and Gilmour is waived? |

He is great when healthy and not rehabbing but those days are very far and few between |

That's the safe play but may not be the smartest play. I really liked his game in the preseason |

Yeah. There's no one I'd take out for him. I know he can play the left a little bit, so if they want to alternate him with people, I guess that would be ok? |

Bogo and Montour's salary when they come off LTIR. |

Their cap hits are currently active. Both are on IR, not LTIR |

I know we are 6-1-1...but I'm ready to switch up the lines.
1. Olofsson is not doing anything 5v5, and he's taking big minutes to do nothing. He can score on the powerplay from the second line just as easily. I said before the season, give the kid 1st PP time but don't play him with Eichel. Time to reassemble the big line with skinner.
2. Oloffson, Johansson, and Vesey. Sobotka has been good but he can't play 2nd line.Vesey has done nothing so maybe this wakes him up.
3. Sheary Mittelstadt Okposo. Sheary and Mittelstadt have only been together for 4 games, and they were really good for two of them. I want to see more. Okposo works his butt off so he can add some grinding to an otherwise soft line
4. Sobotka Larsson Girgensons Honestly, the twins are playing well, and sobotka belongs here where his earnest combination of effort and incompetence will be appreciated rather than despised. |
