Makes sense... if you're a moron, then you've probably acted like an idiot more than once.

Can confirm. Rino and Tojo both picked Dallas to miss. I did not - as Rino said it’s early. I’m surprised at their slow start. I took Klingberg in my fantasy league and he’s been garbage
- WSCTeton17

I went way out on a limb and picked Minnesota instead, so I'm not feeling that great. (Same with NJ which didn't feel that bad.)

I was pretty determined not to pick Dallas or Arizona though. Dallas is relying on way too many players over 30 has no depth scoring at all, and needs Bishop to repeat his big year which he hadn't come close to the previous 4 or 5.

So I just read the Shining a couple months back. Made me like the movie way less. The book is fantastic.

Because he’s better and cheaper than your current 3rd pair options and your incompetent 3rd pair will inevitably lead to playoff failures?
- Feds91Stammer

We've already benched one and it's still early, we can get both benched by the playoffs.

I want the Pens to win the cup which means you want all your players to play well, so of course JJ playing well helps that cause.

That being said, the way people freak out when credit doesn’t get thrown his way is ridiculous. These people are getting so excited about him actually doing one or two little things HE SHOULD be able to do is proof positive of how bad he sucks.

It’s like “look! He made a pass and nobody is giving him credit!”

LOL

But also accurate.

I feel like people on this board are like a battered spouse. RW’s last few blogs have actually been positive yet you all are firing off that it’s negative and trying to make it negative.
- Rinosaur

Idk why anyone reads them if the blogs bother them. I'm indifferent I just like the convos in here for the most part.

We only have 5 and if they rid themselves or even bench Johnson we'll be down to 4. The big names are, but it's a young team around them.

Dallas has 11 players over 30.

Pierre LeBrun is reporting an extension for Hischier. $7.25MM AAV. 7 years. I like it. Dude should be in many Selke discussions moving forward imo

There’s a lot to like in MN but there’s a couple areas where they need improvement or players to overachieve. Stalock has been steady but the off switch is on too often

Everyone is going to be pretty competitive this season with the exceptions of LA, Ottawa, and CBJ imo. Everyone else has rosters than can keep them in it. I think goaltending sinks the Jackets and the Sens, just my opinion. I think LA just won’t get the goal support

Interesting to see Perry on the second line and Pavelski on the third line. I think just about everyone expected that to be the other way around. And the Ducks just keep on rolling.

Feds what say you to the Duckies? Quack 👏 Quack 👏 Quack 👏

Yeah that’s a pretty vet heavy team. Plus sid is ageless so he don’t count either.

IDK... I like RW, but if I'm writing a primer for tonight's game, I'm not writing about JO. Most people know why JO was the focus.

How about a little love for ZAR? He’s got 4 points in 7 games with a 54%CF with only 30% of his shifts starting in the O zone. His relative CF and FF are both +3% as well. He’s also one of our more physical players. His pace last season was 32 points. Would love to see him hit a 40 point pace which adds another trade chip (either him or someone else)

Excuse me? But what does ZAR and his stats have to do with the Penguins? Jamie Oleksiak, on the other hand ... get with the program!

If he stays healthy and is pacing a 20g-20a season, at his current AAV, you keep that, trade Rust, and utilize that cap space properly this time!
