He did. He looked and made the right call to keep it due to the back checker who would have almost certainly broken the pass up with a stick lift. He just didn’t skate into a good angle for the shot after making the call to keep.

I was late getting home so I’ve just now caught up on the action. Blueger continues to look like a shade of how he was last year. Kahun continues to improve. I’m normally a Simon fan but I think Galchenyuk can provide more tangible offense if he were on the top line

Most importantly.. The second pair looks better at times and Petts continues to score. Most fun player to watch (aside from Sid and Jake) is definitely Marino. Need some work away from the puck? Sure. With the puck though? He’s been terrific through 2 periods. Even JJ looks pretty good (although a couple decisions like his gap on the 1st goal) are still classic JJ. Still better tho
