I think the common denominator is newell brown and the excessive and predictable use of the drop pass. Quinn gaining a controlled entry on the PP without it has been refreshing.

I'm fine with the drop pass. Its widely used and proven successful, but I feel like its ALL the canucks have outside of Hughes being creative and gaining entry himself. But i agree with the above, zone setup hasnt changed since game one and we are 0 for 21 on the road now using the same. Something has to change

The 1-3-1 is used league wide also. It's got to be up to the players to move to open areas and choose which direction the puck goes.
