Kerfoot sucks at FOs and Tavares faces a lot of good FO takers. Going to be real tough for that line to get possession and do anything with it if they are losing the FO most of the time.
Almost would rather Spezza start those shifts and get off the ice after the FO. |

Kerfoot sucks at FOs and Tavares faces a lot of good FO takers. Going to be real tough for that line to get possession and do anything with it if they are losing the FO most of the time.
Almost would rather Spezza start those shifts and get off the ice after the FO.

Not if he wins the FO which he does more than 50% of the time.
In the two-three weeks that Tavares is out, I wouldn't be surprised to see Spezza on the 2nd line eventually if Kerfoot keeps sucking at FOs.
Not saying Spezza is any good but if there's a role he can actually still play, it's an offensive role. Probably can't keep it up for 82 games but maybe he can for a couple weeks. |

Should be a simple solution; play Matthews more.
Babcock keeps it at 19/19 between Matthews and Tavares to keep things fair and fresh between the two but if one of them is hurt, the other should play 22/23.

Looks like the LA Kings suck again and doesn't look like that's going to change any time soon either.
Keep that line open Dubas because Doughty's patience is going to wear thin with playing on a poop team.
What a glorious addition Drew Doughty would be.
