There's quite a big gap between the AHL and NHL - especially at D...and in net. But yeah...why not? He wasn't the best in preseason - but it was preseason.
Holl isn't doing too badly right now - playing a little more simple game.

As per cap management. Matthews, Marner or Travares would have to be included in any deal for Doughty to be anything close to being feasible. Honestly I wouldn't make any of those deals for him. Doughty six or seven years ago may be, Doughty now with numbers as bad as Ceci, not a chance.

Ether way disinterested or just plain going down hill, Leafs don't need that poop. 11 mill could get you two (frank)ing decent Dmen, not just one that I believe is greatly overrated for what he is being paid.

I just believe the answer to the Fermi paradox of why haven't we been visited if we can say it's likely there are many, many other lifeforms in the universe (which I believe) is that the distances are so vast and lightspeed really is totally unapproachable so those distances can never be crossed. So civilizations all over the universe have a good idea that the others are there, but they can never meet.

Just my take, I'd love it if the saucer would come down and blow up the White House, that would rule. I'm cheering for it, but...I'm also a Leafs fan.

I don't think it is aliens but I do think it could be aliens lol. The possibility isn't zero. Most likely equipment malfunction, some sort of optical illusion type deal, swamp farts, or some sort of secret military tech that the regular military is unaware of. It's still fun to think about though.
