If the Flyers cant win with the roster they have now a 3rd line winger and 3rd pair Dman is not going to push them over the edge.

Agreed. Better off letting those player stay in the AHL for while and stay on a role.

First things first...I’m not buying the notion travel has something to do with the Flyers less than inspired start to the season. The schedule was out months before the start of the season. Coaches, players, trainers carry the burden of being ready, regardless of travel. The team is simply not clicking on all cylinders...yet.

That said, this is the first year in I don’t know how long that thoughts of “this coach has no clue what he’s doing, fire his a**” have crossed my mind. Vigneault is the guy for the job, clearly, and it’s simply on the players to produce, or else. I don’t think Fletch will hesitate to shake things up via a trade.

if this team can't get it together by xmas we should dump our old core
- 2Real

Another season like that and I don't know how they don't make some sort of major roster move.

Forget the 4th line, how is JVR supposed to get going playing with Laughton and Pitlick? They are both fourth line players. We need better players on that line, if we want any offense from it.

Ghost may be a game or two away from being benched if he can’t get his game going.

Good call going back to Hart in this one. It sends a good message to him and the team.

Maybe Benn’s poor play is a result of who he’s playing with.

The lines are interesting. Love the new pairs, although it’s probably time for Morin to step in. Dallas does have size. PP isn’t gonna get better if the proper adjustments aren’t going to be made and that begins and ends with positioning.

For those who want to try something a little different, I found a little something from the New Holland Brew Co out of Michigan. It’s called Dragons Milk White Stout. It’s a white stout, aged in bourbon barrels and it tastes like a creamier version of a Belgian white. I highly recommend it.

Yeah, I know, but even I like something besides scotch now and then!

Speaking of adult beverages. Anyone had the Jameson’s IPA cask mate? Not a big whiskey drinker but thought it was very good. Extremely smooth.

I like scotch but I'm not a connoisseur. I'll have to get some recommendations from you some time.

Start with something basic. I’d suggest 12 year old Macallan
