Currently in London with my lady friend catching the Knights and Frontenacs. Shane Wright who was granted exceptional status is playing for Kingston. Antonio Stranges is an American playing for London who is draft eligible to his year who should be available late in the first round. |

We all wanted Burakovsky, but to be fair, do you think he is going to continue scoring on a quarter of his shots? |

On top of that, if Scandella is moved, it would probably be for nothing of substance.
How do you take the surplus of D men and not get a forward out of it? - sbroads24
move them for picks and prospects, and built the pipeline
we are still very weak at wingers, goalies, and thin at RD in the pipeline

Looked up all of Caufield's goals through 3 games.
The 2 versus Boston College were power play goals with Weissbach as the primary assistor.
Weissbach was the lone assistor on the Caufield goal at the start of the 3rd period versus Merrimack (Weissbach was the primary assistor on the Turcotte power play goal in the first).
In the game against Minnesota Duluth where Weissbach had a goal and two primary assists on both of Caufield's goals, Weissbach's goal was on the power play.
Now, to the video...
VS. Boston College:
1st Caufield PP goal came off a very good, one touch Weissbach pass from side of the net which left Caufield the space to get off his shot. Strong pass from Weissbach.
Weissbach put it on a tee again for Caufield on his 2nd PP goal, again on a very good one touch pass, this time from above the right faceoff circle, which left Caufield all alone on the left side.
VS. Merrimack:
Could not get video of the Weissbach to Caufield goal.
VS. Minnesota Duluth:
Weissbach put it on an absolute tee again for Caufield in the goal to start the game. Excellent pass, under the defenders stick.
Weissbach's PP goal was a slam dunk layup off an excellent pass from Turcotte.
Caufield could not have had a more wide open net off the fake shot pass from Weissbach. He put it on a tee again for Caufield.
Summary: the Wisconsin power play is ridiculous and loaded with talent. On 4 of the 5 Caufield goals that I could watch video on, where Weissbach was the primary assistor, Weissbach made it easy for Caufield to score with very good passes each time.

I stand corrected...apparently, according to jon vogl, parings were changed by Krueger
McCabe-Ristolainen
Scandella-Miller
Dahlin-Jokiharju - Michael Pachla
my guess is so scandella and miller can play a lot of minutes if we have the lead, lean on vets |

Pilut...?
They'd better get a strong return if they do trade him. - kingcong39
Seems like some people think we could get a little more than expected for Scandella |

What kind of message does that send if one of their best defenseman is sent down to the AHL when it's not due to his play? - kingcong39
A horrible one, agreed. I just don't see what the other options are unless a trade is made. |

I think in today's nhl, we are going to have to take salary back.
Maybe we get a similar soon to be ufa forward for scandy
I still think if were serious about a playoff, keep as many d as you can. I think we could carry 23 guys?
2 healthy 2 scratches and 1 forward.
Or you waiver erod to Rochester and carry 8 d |

they can always keep 8 with the big club
if not over the cap, and keep 1 forward up
so joker, pilut, scandella rotate the last spot with montour playing
assuming there is no injury
and send gilmour down
when/if bogo gets healthy, a little dicey, but he may not play at all this year

Pegillaville also had an 8 year playoff drought. I’m not superstitious, but I am a little stitious. |
