You think the best PK in the league is going to bench one of their leading forward PKers. Doubt it.
- manvanfan

Isn't Roussel better then Schaller on the PK with his hustle?

Hard to say who finishes ahead. Only thing we know for sure is the Canucks are on the rise and flames and jets are on their way down. Both teams need to a rebuild

If Gaudette isn't drawing in after a loss for back to back games then doubt we see him inserted without injury. So should he be go to rolling Comets, until then, or stick to practicing with the Canucks?

Entertaining hockey the boys are playing. Crisp, logical passes.
The D looks very good. Zone exits are smart
Good forecheck and we have a centered to the net drive.

What a different team from ....well....several years.
Kudos to the coaching staff for making these changes and to JB for the acquisition of Miller and signing Benn and Myers.
We are a playoff team now

Just finished watching the game, I was thinking the same for the first 2 periods, really came to play. Then the third started and the Canucks were gassed, they hung on because of Markstrom.

Speaking of coaching, I hope Green doesn’t go all in on the first game of B2B the way he did this time. His top players had nothing left for the 3rd because he over used them in Jersey.

Yes markstrom has been stellar.
1 thing that was apparent was the high compete level of every single player. Quite happy with that.

Our travel, b2b plus 2 morning games no wonder they were gassed. Yet every guy still gave his all. Gotta give it to coach green for that. Most coaches struggle to achieve that.

They had a chance to blow them out in the second with numerous odd man rushes.

I caught the last half of the game.
That 3rd was crazy, and even more surprising is that we didn't fold.
Other years, other iterations of this squad would have at least gone to o/t and more than likely lost.
i like this team.

Probably the first time in NHL history a team has been scheduled B2B games in the afternoon on the weekend lol. Good thing we got 2 pts out of it
