His ability to hit the intermediate routes, or the swing pass to McKenzie are two areas I would look to right away.

He's finding the safety valves. His receivers and tight ends have some key drops. Josh still leaves plays on the field, but at the end of the day he is winning games.

Yesterday, the defense wasn't at their best and we got the W. Whenever we get a full fledged offense and Milano is back, look the eff out.

Dawson Knox. The guy has become somewhat of a folk hero, and for good reason (that catch and run vs. Cincinnati), but drops are becoming quite an issue for him. I guess it's not too surprising given that he was rarely thrown to in college, but he has had three drive-killing drops in the past three games. It's becoming a bit of a problem.

I seriously lost my sh!t yesterday when he had that one. It wasn't even a hard catch. He just tried to run before he actually had the ball. Hopefully it's just a learning curve and he figures it out. But man, that one HURT yesterday.

It seems there are at least four or five drive killing drops, turnovers or penalties that stifle the offense when they are moving and getting momentum.

Once they figure themselves out and the defense is playing their A-game, this team will be dangerous.

The thing is, after yesterday's game, I think the offense is what it is at this point. It's going to do just enough to win games, and not much more. Maybe next year and the year after it becomes more explosive if the Bills bring in some more weapons, but I have a feeling you're going to see this kind of output for the rest of the season.

That's fine with me. If they keep getting wins, and still have an upward trajectory, that's all I need.

If they can incorporate Singletary more, that would be great.

Eventually they will find a way to be more explosive, one would think.

Exactly, is he a Franchise Quarterback yet, No, we all hope he turns into one, he has what 16 starts so far, he has things he needs to work on, but to say he hasn't improved is ridiculous
- Buff36

What has he improved on from last year?

He still has accuracy issues.

So I am still waiting for someone to explain how he’s improved at all

Even though the Bills and Sabres are good, they are really bad.

If you think that they are good, you're wrong.

There are more drops, than missed throws, in my opinion. He's hitting guys in the hands, and they aren't making plays.

He's not scrambling to make plays as much, and is looking at more of the field.

He's calling and changing plays and protection at the line.

Yes but he also still has a tendency to miss easy throws.

Yeah I guess not raising your completion % 10 points is nothing, yes he makes that boneheaded play still occasionally. Maybe it's a excuse, but with penalties and a dropped pass here and there that have hurt drives, maybe he doesn't try those stupid passes cause he wouldn't have had to.

Russel Wilson was bad yesterday. Carson Wentz was utterly atrocious. Garappolo was stunk too but the weather probably had more to do with that.

Allen has things to improve on, skill scratch my head at some of the things he does, but you can see the work he is putting in to try and improve, and I like this a lot. He never gives up.

I dunno....I'm seeing less of that this year. Listen, I HATED the draft pick of a guy that had a worse college completion percentage than JP Losman did, but even I can see that Josh Allen has really improved since last season. The only gripe I have with him now is that he's somehow gotten worse with the long-ball this season. That's it.

Bottom line, you're just flat out wrong. And stubborn. Probably ugly too.

He's also attempting the long ball a lot less than he was last year, which is part of it.

No one has told me how he’s improved yet ...... great accuracy has gone up from 50%.

He also has been missing easy throws and reads on a consistent basis. His deep ball is pathetic.

So I see no growth

Yep and Mayfield has not been good this year and Trubisky has regressed badly. Some quick notes:
- I live in the NYC area and think about the weekend my friends who are Yankee/Ranger and Giants had? Then think about the weekend Buffalo sports had (And I'll add in the Wake Forest victory for me as my son goes there). Perspective Buffalonians.
- Josh has inceased is completion % by 10% this year, which I didn't foresee, I also didn't foresee his troubles on long balls. I think that correctable - just underthrow the ball a bit. The fact Josh is always clutch in the 4th quarter (highest rated qb in the NFL I believe, maybe 2nd) says a lot
- AJ Green, if healthly would look really good on this team.
- Daboll is very creative but sometimes he has a mindset of "I'm going to make my team into a 21st century passing team no matter what." That pass on 3rd and one in the first half was stupid when Gore was averaging 8 yards/carry.
- Drops, penalties and pass rush vs. Josh killed the Bills the first half. In the 2nd half this went away and we scored 2 td's (3 with Hyde's) and didn't get to the ball until 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

Saying going from a 50% completion percentage to 60% equates to no growth is like saying your microwave sucks because you can't cook a whole turkey in it.

Nobody cares

You don’t need to make excuses for a quarterback that goes 10/11 in the second half and wins the game. He was inconsistent. Get over it.

The Bills have the 2nd highest pass-to-run ratio in the league behind only Kansas City. That's who they want to be this year, and I doubt it's going to change. While the numbers aren't fascinating, being a pass-heavy offense has put this team in better positions to win more often than not.
