Which is like comparing oranges to tangerines. They look alike, but they're still different. If all teams played the same way, then sure, but they don't, so it's not really a one-to-one comparison. - Wetbandit1
So are you trying to say you can’t statistically compare teams? That’s bonkers |

All wins count the same. The past is in the past. Elway won when it counted, we have not seen what Allen can do yet when it gets to that point.
However what I do know is that there wouldn’t be a 4th quarter come back against the Jets if Allen didn’t turnover the ball 4 times in the first half. There wouldn’t have been the need for come backs against the winless Bengals or Dolphins if the offence did not struggle for a majority of those games. There wouldn’t have been a 4th quarter come back against the Titans if they don’t leave 19 points on the board (between missed field goals and Mariota being offside by half a yard on the go ahead touchdown pass).
Allen seems like a great guy. He has a cannon for an arm. He has a whole career ahead of him to put it together. I just think he needs to continue to improve and put it together quick because it’s hard to field an elite defence like this year after year. - Swedish_Jesus
Are the Seahwaks bad? They beat the Bengals by one point. The Packers beat the Lions because of bad officiating on a last second FG. "Any Given Sunday" especially when it comes to divisional opponents. The Dolphins tend to give the Pats fits. They had won 5 of the last 6 in Miami before this year, but they have in the past and the Dolphins have been just about as bad as the Bills. They've been to the playoffs 2 more times than the Bills since 2000. Comparing all games against all opponents as if they're the same is fundamentally flawed. |

Agree on the Pass Rusher, Dunlap is pretty good at getting to the QB, think you could get both him and Green for what it might cost to get say Von Miller. It would be wild seeing Green Beasley and Brown out, there - Buff36
But we aren’t gonna throw 40xs a games even if we trade for Aj Green
I’d say a legit pass rusher should be our top target
Get Shaq Barrett from Tampa, sign him |

Allen did play like this vs the Pats
Their defense is nasty
Could definitely go undefeated in the regular season - jdfitz77
If NE gets to the Super Bowl, it would be 4 in a row. It’s a long shot but wouldn’t it be so right if Buffalo was the team that stopped them. |

Didn’t think of that
Good point
Kinda like how Miami was the only team to beat the Bears back in ‘85
Idk if there’s any AFC teams that can score enough against the Pats defense?
Even if KC or Houston can put up 35-40pts...
would that even be enough?
Especially KC with that awful defense |

Getting home field advantage would definitely increase your odds of doing so. |

He’s just a superstar
He’s on pace for 40 goals with Sobotka and a guy who hasn’t played center in years.
Botts has acquired some damn studs in Skinner, Jokiharju, Miller and to a lesser degree Johansson. - sbroads24
Lesser and Johansson? Nah he’s been amazing. Don’t forget about Montour too and I like his drafts picks so far: Dahlin (I know lottery luck), Middelstadt, cousins, samuellson, 6k, there’s probably a few others I’m forgetting about |

It would be so sweet to see Brady get hurt as the Pats keep him in to run up the score |

I think the hot start will tail a bit for Johansson. Love him as a player but he’s playing above what he has his whole career. But again, Skinner makes everyone he’s with better |

Before some of the haters lose their minds...
Botts has made his errors as well
He’s not 100% with these moves
I do like the overall direction of the team though
Hopefully this start has the guys that were ready to jump off the Peace Bridge in June/July feeling better as well |

The league has a few elite teams, a couple garbage teams, and a bunch of teams that are a weird fumble and an ill-timed missed field goal from either being 10-6 or 8-8.
More specifically to your point, if there's such a thing as a "good" 0-7 team, the Bengals are it. I've watched a decent amount of them, and while I wouldn't say they should have a winning record, they could easily be 3-4 |

Josh Allen, quarters 1-3 this season:
61.1 comp%, 6.4 yds/att, 3 TD, 7 INT, 67.7 rating
Josh Allen, 4th quarter this season:
68.8 comp%, 9.8 yds/att, 4 TD, 0 INT, 139.6 rating
Allen's 4th Q yds/att & rating are #1 among qualified QBs. He ranks 23rd and 26th in those overall.
I’ll take those 4th quarter stats from my 2nd year qb... but there is no improvement..... |

That the stats different teams put up are equal.
LA leads the league in attempts, and watching the Sabres game it's easy to see why, they're all Evander Kane, just cranking them from anywhere and everywhere. Edmonton takes 18 fewer attempts a game, yet averages a third of a goal more than LA. |

It would have been much more impressive if the Pats struggled for 3 quarters tonight and turned the ball over multiple times just so Brady can get a 4th Quarter come back. |

And literally no one credible takes one statistic and makes a broad generalization about it.
I also don’t get defending the LA game. They straight up killed us and we got incredibly lucky. It happens |

Could u go ahead and quote someone who’s said “there’s been no improvement”?
I haven’t seen ppl say that at all
A couple ppl have been a little harsh
But Allen has also looked horrible at times & still making some brutal decisions as well
Getting better... yes
Still a long ways to go... also yes

I missed it
Didn’t do all the back reading
But anyways...
that’s just 1 dude
It’s far from the overall feeling about Allen
The kid is still very raw,
and still has a ton to learn
His up & down play will likely continue through this season |
