I’d rather talk Mikeyhev’s next contract or who is most expendable. The latter is a tough answer for anyone. Kapanen created tonight, Johnsson too, Nylander had a goal and was generally quiet. I dunno what to make of those three.... they all have to be on the block... to me it’s Kapanen cause you already have Marner and Nylander on the right side. Johnsson the big left wing. But I don’t know how much Kapanen would get you or what the leafs would even look for. Decent dman or back up.

You take dumb penalties when you stop skating. These guys aren't in the same gear as the opposition too often. It's probably impressive that they've collected 3 points in the last 3 games considering the penalty differential.

Yep, totally should've dished it to Rielly. It frustrates me how often he tries to do everything himself. Then he wonders why he always has very few assists..

I get he has an unreal finish, but (frank)in pass the puck more in certain situations.

I agree ...he skated himself and his line mates until they were tired. Then dumped the puck to nobody. I'm sure he'll get a face full of Babcock too. He was lazy on the coverage on that 2nd goal too.

Like with any young superstar ..we hope that they learn from it and don't let it happen again.

I think Babcock's take will be ...he can live with the overhandling by Matthews and Marner ...they do way more good then evil with their mitts ...but the penalties are (frank)ed. Stop taking (frank)ing penalties.
