I feel like I keep having to defend this guy. That Casey DeSmith allegation was thrown out. He pled to being drunk & disorderly basically, which is why his punishment was a $124 fine. The investigation found that no one could corroborate her story - including physical examination and her verbally when questioned.

We live in age where someone is guilty without due process. Don't make them guilty when due process has found that they weren't as well.

There is a reason for it, Babs said he wants to lighten Andersen’s work load.

Running the goalie is apparently ok. Something the Leafs will have to keep in mind when they play Boston tomorrow night. Marchand and that dead beat Backes both took a shot at Andersen and I think we see the Leafs retaliate tomorrow night.

This is where I miss the days of Ed Belfour, Ron Hextall or even Felix Potvin. (was to young to remember Billy Smith) If you were going to get up in there business, be prepared to get a blocker in the side of the head or a two hander to the back of the legs! Goalies today just rather cry about it! If you convince them you're a bit of a psycho, they'll think twice about crashing your crease.
Don't expect anyone on this Leafs roster to retaliate, while they're highly skilled, this is the most physically weak team they've ever had! Muzzin can throw hits but doesn't fight, and Kappanen ain't going to beat anyone up! They're too scared to chuck knuckles with the Bruins or any other team for that matter!
