Some people are just 'glass half empty' types. Hell, they're right sometimes. But the constant narrative is boring. I just try to ignore the repetitive stuff.

Us older folk who lived through the Ballard years should be the pessimistic moaners. Frankly, nobody under the age of 35 should be allowed to female dog and moan about the Leafs.

- The Law

Totally agree.. I get sad when my glass is under half full..

I get a kick out of the fans that say this issue goes back to last year.

How, they have 8 or 9 new players. It is a different team..

Those panicking arent just talking about these past 10 games.....its a trend since january. They are a .500 team.
Personally, i dont worry until at least the 20 - 30 game mark.

- Fakepartofme

If they are spinning wheels and hovering around .500 after 30+ games.
Do something then, can Babs to start.

Last year is last year, this season we've had a lot of turnover on the roster, it's gonna take time to get everyone on the same page.. It will be better once Dermott, Hyman and Snakevares are back.

The defensive issues do and so does the lack of effort.
Different people, same problem.
Easy to see for non homers i guess.

under 10 games in - its really nothing to stress over

lots of new players; esp. D

- Lucas.Neilson

I would agree, except it has been years now of this same thing.

On paper you can make a good argument that the Leafs lineup is as good as any in the league. They are simply performing well below expectations.

If there were different problems, it may be different , but it is the same poop different year with this team.

I am hoping that they just need to grow up.

But its the same issues, thats all some are pointing out.
Jt has only been out what, 2 games? Dermott isnt a huge game changer yet. Hyman will help.

Well help put a smile on babs face

how many other teams could deal with the devastating loss of losing 2/3 of their top line?

The trick is to have three 2nd lines.

Worst fanbase in sports.

Yeah shame on us for not being happy for being the laughing stock of the league for 50+ years and not showing any signs whatsoever of improving even in the slightest despite being right up against the cap.

We should definitely be proud of all this organization has accomplished.

The trick is to have three 2nd lines, that actually work hard, try to play a system and get solid goaltending

leafs scouting is really active right now - a bundle of em spotted in Boston.
- Lucas.Neilson

Or maybe they are just expensing a trip to Boston.

If I was a scout, I would only go to cool cities.

Need to scout a player on Winnipeg or Minnesota?

Wait ‘til they play the Rangers or Vancouver or LA or Tampa.

Dermott is better than Marincin
Hyman will help Marner and Tavares, because he's not afraid to go and get the puck.
JT will help, because he's da captain now..

That is nowhere near as funny as being unable to admit that they have not improved at all on their biggest weakness and it has been years now.

At some point, you are what your record says you are. Right now, the Leafs are way underperforming their talent and some of their inflated salaries.

The faces change, the problems remain.

LOL
Its been 2 games for JT.
Hyman plays on the top line, but not your typical top line player.
