Good teams adjust before the team slides not after. They recognize the need to adjust and do so before a skid not after

Krueger hasn't proven to misdiagnose a situation yet. Some of his decisions don't make sense to me, but there has to be a reason for not making drastic changes to start the games.

He seems to utilize the sports science, and what he is seeing on the ice to make in-game decisions that seem to be working.

Until he has a full disregard for what's going on, I'll stand back and watch the show.

Time to grab some kindling.

I haven't seen a single person bash the Pegula's since game 1 of the NFL season.

People were more than ready to bash the (frank) out of them at every turn for poopty teams.

Are folks ready to praise them for good teams? Or are people going to pull the double standard card, it's only the banshee's fault when we suck but they have nothing to do with us being good.

Amazing what happens when fans go from being extremely hands on, to releasing their pressure on their gm's

I feel like the message from Krueger is similar to what McDermott tells the Bills at the end of each game.

Stay Humble in the media.

You can tell Jack is giving more praise to the other team at the end of each game. Jack isn't getting to high or too low. It seems he's enjoying the game, and his comment about hearing from the fans on Tuesday about needing to shoot more and making jokes about it.

I think the mood around the team, granted it helps that they are 8-1-1, is positive. It will be interesting to see if there is a slide, if things get difficult for a game or two.

I think homie said it best, that the stretches of bad games will be fewer and more far between because of the way the team is handling in game struggles.

I think the Pegula's had a lot to learn as owners. Look at TM versus Botteril. Who was more fun to listen to? Who got you more excited about the moves he was making? Now look at Rex Ryan, everything he says is exciting. We were #2, but I'm used to being #1! Hells yah. McDermott is the most boring man alive after the Hoodie.

As new owners, they did interviews, and they hired dynamic exciting people. They were also new to sports and didn't probably have the best guidance. Terry in particular seemed to just want to hire sabres greats to run the organization. After a few bad hires, they seemed to try to find really sound people and turned control over to them.

Anyway, do we all agree the next two games are huge? We don't need to win, but I need to see this team look really superior to these bottom feeders. If they can come out and dominate play and throw up some lopsided shots, it will really prove they've moved up a class. I'm excited to find out how they look.

sort of like the bills vs dolphins game the rangers seem exceedingly bad and i'm really looking for the sabres to steamroll tonight if they want to show me they are different

win or loss whatever, just dominate possession like every other team has vs the rangers

I have no inside info but don't sleep on Beckman JR (CLE). He doesn't really fit all that well in Cleveland. I know too much $ and too much attitude but I think CLE would trade him in a second if they could.

Will be interesting who they start in goal tonight with the game in Detroit tomorrow. Btw, DET looks really bad right now. Problem is both of these teams are desperate.

Be honest. I know you like Erod, but do you ever need to see him again? Because I've already forgotten he exists.
