Guess who's leading the Sabres with a +7 +/-? - turbo044
He's also the only defenseman other than Dahlin to score.
Honestly, I don't know how to explain it. I have to assume he just lost his way for a couple seasons. Maybe Housley did a number on him. Idk. |

Be honest. I know you like Erod, but do you ever need to see him again? Because I've already forgotten he exists. - matty12345
Idk, he has looked bad. I like his game best when he's at center, so if there's an injury, that's where I'd like to see him go
But no, I'm not clamoring for him to get back in there right now |

Yeah, I'm redecorating my erod shrine and turning it into a Mojo shrine. The candle wax made the erod pictures stick to the walls, so the process is taking longer than I'd like |

Speaking of McDermott being boring at his pressers, I bet that if you slowed down the speed of his comments, it would be a dead on match to the "Hoodie". This last one about the Eagles had a comment on how good almost all positions on the Eagles are excellent and it will be the "toughest game we will play all year" .... or at least that's what it sounds like.
I can just picture those words coming out of Bellichek's mouth if I close my eyes when I listen to it. |

sort of like the bills vs dolphins game the rangers seem exceedingly bad and i'm really looking for the sabres to steamroll tonight if they want to show me they are different
win or loss whatever, just dominate possession like every other team has vs the rangers - robz228
I agree with this. The current ranger team is terrible. They need to Dallas stars them and KO them.
The ranger team has 0 puck possession and the Sabres are a puck possession team.
It all points to a win. |

It shocks me how little his name is mentioned now, here and elsewhere. He has a very vocal fan club.
At some point, they are going to need him.

How come the most vocal fan club of players we have are always bottom 6 guys?
If sobo was a bottom 6 guy people who magically love him all of a sudden |

ID guess Ullmark as Hutton played the last one its his participation medal and orange slices turn |

People love an underdog. ERod checks a lot of those boxes.

Remember in the off-season when it was Erod and Nelson buzz every other day. Good times.
Canβt believe that Putz took Erod to arbitration when we could have given him a 5 year deal at a low AAV to keep him in the bottom 6 fold long term |

true too
The BU chemistry always drives me crazy. He's been awful with Jack in the NHL, but people will keep suggesting him on the top line anyways.

This is the NHL not the NFL though. The steamrolling of bad teams isn't the same in hockey.
TB had the best record in the league last year and we were 1-2-1 against them. In 4 games they had a total of 3 more goals than the Sabres. No steamrolling.
The previous season Boston finished with 112 points and Buffalo had 62 points. The Sabres were 3-1 against them.
In hockey, if you're expecting a blowout against a bad team every game, you will be disappointed. |

I mean, I wasn't thrilled with the alternation earlier, but there is a back to back against two of the worst teams...I don't really care which guy gets which game. Makes sense to give hutton one extra rest day. |
