Bo had his best year as a Canuck statistically last season with 40? different line mates. They can shuffle whoever is hot on his line nightly for all I care. Captain gets it done.

Yeah I get trying to give guys a long look, but at some point with the injuries they had to Boeser and Ferland, I just think that they missed the opportunity to find secondary chemistry options in their predictive bottom 6 when they knew Goldobin and Baertschi were going to be cut

And as clarification, its not a complaint specific to the Canucks or Green, the entire NHL either should cut the preseason shorter or reduce their rosters earlier

Looks like this Stetcher "rumour" is falling flat on it's face. Friedman is also saying he hasnt heard anything and is just speculating based on ice time compared to last season. This is how most rumours get spread... loose speculation turns into a hot topic which feeds the people who believe the smoke fire narratives.

JB made moves to create defensive depth... unless an upgrade is coming back... not likely they are thinking this until closer to the TDL... and they will probably have some of the depth on IR by then.
