Still think Eichel needs a better support cast. McDavid gets Drisatel and Eichel gets Reinhart and a rookie.
Name one superstar in the NHL that plays on a worse line than Eichel? Maybe Crosby but he is one of the all time bests for specifically that reason.

not directed at you, but I love how the extremes eventually take over...the kid is 19 yrs old and has a good long learning curve ahead of him as a defenseman in the toughest hockey league in the world

not directed at you, but I love how the extremes eventually take over...the kid is 19 yrs old and has a good long learning curve ahead of him as a defenseman in the toughest hockey league in the world

i actually think hes making the best kind of mistakes too, not like he cant make a pass or forces bad plays all the time

he just makes stupid blunders like totally losing control of the puck somehow. mechanical (frank)ups and not poor hockey decisionmaking

I still think Sam is too slow for Eichel. He’s got great hockey sense but lacks the transition and breakaway speed. I feel keeping him with Eichel is holding Eichel back. There is not a better option this year but if we are going to be a deep playoff team this needs to be addressed

I have actually liked sams speed this year. No one will ever be as fast as Eichel. Skinner isn’t even
