Their November schedule from the 14th through the 30th is brutal as they have 10 games in 17 days, including another game against the Lightning after the overseas back to backl, and games against the Bruins, Flames, and a back to back home and home versus the Leafs.
That's s rough stretch. - kingcong39
Should learn a lot about them next month |

Just looked at upcoming games...only 2 this week (Mon/Fri). The early part of November sucks ! Just 5 games in the first 15 days.

Crapload of games after the 16th though. Still...we're gonna be itching for games to watch in the early part of November. - kritter65
It's all due to the trip to Sweden. I believe 5 days off before and after the trip. It would be smart to schedule it later in the season to coincide with the team's bye week. |

They play Saturday too. Sucks for us to have to wait for games but I think it’ll be good for them to have a little time to rest. |

I wouldn’t have high expectations for UPL this year. Hip surgery for a goalie is a year long process to recover from.
He might be physically better right now but he has been on the ice for 3-4 weeks now. Which isn’t much, no training camp, and hasn’t seen any game action.
My guess is ECHL is first rehab starts wise and see how it goes. - Sabretooth9
I just read earlier this week that he will indeed be starting with the Cyclones down in Cincinnati. |

I’m nervous for this game ..... the bills elite defense got torn apart by Fitzpatrick for 98% of the game.
And Allen struggled big time vs every single defense he has played. - Sabretooth9
Doesn't sound like it will be something to worry about this week. The wind is going to be brutal. This game will come down to who wins the battle at the line of scrimmage. |

You're right. Pretty safe to assume someone's not 100% that they aren't telling us.

They recalled him again. Practicing on a line with Montour.
Edit:
Here's how the D pairs look:
McCabe - Ristolainen
Gilmour - Miller
Dahlin - Jokiharju
Borgen - Montour |

I read that Alex Tuch may be available for trade. He's currently on LTIR, but should be back soon. The Knights currently have 2 natural RD on the roster. Would Montour and Vesey for Tuch be a fair trade? Perhaps they add a pick (they have 5 2nd round picks the next two drafts). Tuch's deal at $4.75m could be very good moving forward and having him an Tage on the right side long term could be really strong. One's 6'4" 220 the other 6'6" 210. If they both continue to develop it would solidify that spot for a long time. |

Yeah, practicing but still on IR. Friday at Washington may not be the game to bring a guy back that hasn't played in a month though. Maybe wait til Saturday when the Isles come here. |

With how everyone has looked under Krueger, and with Montour probably being the most naturally talented D man besides Dahlin, idk why anyone would move him before seeing how he looks.
Dude was excellent in his 20 games here |

Cause Tuch would look very nice at RW on the 2nd line, maybe even 1st line next to Eichel and drop Rhino down to the 2nd. Maybe they take Risto instead, but I would give them Montour for Tuch in a second |

Just because you say he's the 2nd most naturally talented dman doesn't mean it's true. The knock on him was he never matched up against top talent, took undisciplined penalties and wasn't defensively responsible. Sure he looked good when we got him, but at that point in the season any change would have looked good. If he was so naturally talented he wouldn't have gone undrafted his first two years of eligibility. Sure, Krueger could make him a better player, but then what kind of money are we going to have to pay him? His numbers are comparable to Provorov and Morrissey who signed in September for $6.75m and $6.25m respectively. I understand that JBotts did just trade for him, but that was before Krueger was hired. If it came down to JBotts asking Krueger who he would prefer to keep, Risto or Montour, I would expect Krueger would lean toward the guy that is already playing 26 minutes a night for him. |

The reason he will be expensive is because he’s good
I like AlexTuch but I’d explore other assets going the other way before Montour. |

It's a good value trade. If they want to keep Risto long term, or just aren't getting value for him, it's a solid trade.
