I Agree. They better use their first rounder this year to draft a bigger player with some snarl and skill. - DrunkenCanuck
Dont worry.
We will.

How do we know what beecher will be in the nhl or even if he makes it? - Fakepartofme
it's about the type of player.
but yes, i'm quite sure he'll make the NHL as a 2nd / 3rd round player.
actually - another player leafs could use is lawson crouse. would be the perfect 2nd/3rd line winger for this leafs team. |

It's like you learned nothing from the Matt Martin experience. - Scabeh
No need for Matt Martin on this team, he wasn't a very good tough guy or player. I don't watch many Boston games, but, from what I've seen, not many teams run Patrnak the way they run Matthews. Other teams know they will be chewing on Chara's stick (with no penalty of course) if they touch Bergeron, Pastrnak, the rat or McAvoy.

Canes took runs at the Bruins guys for four straight games (and got their asses handed to them on the scoreboard).
The big difference was the Boston is more than used to that kind of game and have the skill level to score on you while they're punching you in the mouth. They can play any kind of game you wanna play and they're better at most of them than you are. |

you say you've seen enough of Babcock after 4 years to say he should be canned.
you don't watch any other hockey so you could have an idea who you'd like as a next head coach?
seems strange you can judge babcock as an outsider, but for the new coaches, you need all kind of inside information. - MaximusAurelius
I'd like to see both the coach and the GM removed. |

I would love a Ryan Reaves on this team or Tom Wilson, but that will likely never happen.
Wondering we the Leafs can add a bit of sandpaper like Simmonds at the deadline this year. |

I also don't remember a lot of the Caps running the leafs 3 years ago either. Kadri, Boyle, Komorov, Martin, and Polak. The Leafs skilled kids were all rookies, and they still got 95 points, and forced a tough contender into a good series. |

Simmonds old and slow. Need a player to be able to skate better. Would rather develop this type of player internally, someone like Mason Marchment. |

Didn't the Canes score like 7 goals in the series against the Bruins? Not a good example. Who were they running after? Waste of time because Chara breaks your nose then you get 2 minutes for bleeding.
