Not making excuses for Edmund's, but your DT are supposed to take up blockers so your LB's can hit the hole, not getting driven 3 yards of the ball. You can't get to the hole when there's bodies in the way. Now I agree that Edmund's needs to read play's better.

I said this earlier, though. Brandon Beane is one of the league's more active GM's on the trade market. He went out and got Kelvin Benjamin two years ago when it was clear playoffs were a possibility. I am betting we will see some sort of move, even if it is just for depth.

Oh without a doubt. This team needs to upgrade at DT, WR, OL, and possibly linebacker. I expect them to get a player at only one of those positions. After yesterday, my #1 hope is at DT by far.

This right here is why I dislike the 19/55 “top pair”.

It’s a small sample from this year but they were both bad at it last year when tracked.

They aren’t making the boneheaded plays Dahlin has, or taking bad penalties, but being bad at getting out of the zone and transitioning to offense is why the puck ends up in the net more against them then the other guys

DT should be the #1 priority. If they don't sew that up, teams will continue to run on them because they know they can, passing league or not. Wentz only threw for 172 yards yesterday. They're more than adequate against the pass. They still have one of the best secondaries in the league, probably best or 2nd best in the AFC.

It didn’t personally. I merely asked a question for verification. They do come to Larkin where my office is every Wednesday. Half the floor went out there religiously, in uniform. No longer.

We haven’t done a great job rushing the passer all year

Also... we could conceivably do both
We just can’t improve all the positions that need it now

And even though it seems likely we will make the playoffs,
We are NOT Super Bowl contenders
So any moves we are making should be in mind that we are still building to get on the level of the “elite” teams
