Nucks were determined to show better after their last game. They were all over FL, winning every race and pressuring FL into doing stupid poop. Maybe Panthers were "tired" on 2nd of back to backs, with equal parts of complacency after waxing Edmonton, but they got blitzed last night. In the first five minutes Van had 3 goals on 9 shots. They made the Panthers look terrible.

The stat keeper in each building all view a "hit" differently. Some of them hand them out like candy and others are pretty strict about it.


That's why it's better to only look at hits on the road only, there's too much influence by one stat keeper if you include home stats.

Coaching and instilling defense goes a long way. Don’t underestimate the Tippett effect.
