Yeah, I hear you. I don't think this was specifically his version but one the beat reporter tried create after discussing the concept with Toews.

I think he has already approached he PA and league about something but don't think he had a set schedule like I shared. Sounds like the league is balking at it because teams like to spread out their visits from super stars to generate ticket sales, many teams also need to schedule around NBA teams and events and finally NBC has a lot of say in when certain teams are scheduled to maximize viewership.

That said, the article I read, suggested that the league were considering some changes along these lines but nothing wholesale.

I don't mind crosby coming once every 2 years but I get why some people and low sales teams would be upset.

It really warms my heart to see both teams lose, but I also think that LA beats the Canucks tomorrow. And I was serious about LA going for blood earlier, especially after McLennan trashed his players and stated some weren’t even NHL caliber.

I also think someone significant will be injured in the game, LA is a cheap shot style team.
