Not sure what to make of this game, but good teams don't have THIS happen to them. Bowman made a mistake with the coach, he needs to own it and swing the ax swiftly as soon as possible.

Konrad just had his first actual hockey point. The Hawks coverage looks better shorthanded.

That means the system 5 on 5 is garbage and it means players aren’t able to grasp what Coliton wants or Colitons system calls for things the Hawks players simply can’t do.

At NO POINT did I ever sense the Hawks had any momentum.

Thank God that game is over.

This has been a frustrating start to the Blackhawks season.

Knew they would have their ups-and-downs but looks like mostly downs with not much hope for ups in the near future.

I'll try to search for some positives to dwell on for tomorrow's blog but don't hold your breathe.
