any Rocky sightings yet? Sooner or later as those seats starting to turn red in the united center, he’s going to have to take an interest and actually learn who is players are and possibly make some tough decisions. I agree with others I’d probably start with the general manager first. But then again who is out there as a replacement? No way I see Rocky or McDonough writing off the season. |

Konrad just had his first actual hockey point. The Hawks coverage looks better shorthanded.
That means the system 5 on 5 is garbage and it means players aren’t able to grasp what Coliton wants or Colitons system calls for things the Hawks players simply can’t do. - bhawks2241
They just need another training camp to learn the system. Things will be much better next season.

Thank God that game is over.
This has been a frustrating start to the Blackhawks season.
Knew they would have their ups-and-downs but looks like mostly downs with not much hope for ups in the near future.
I'll try to search for some positives to dwell on for tomorrow's blog but don't hold your breathe. - Tyler Cameron
Positives? Positives?

Yep he needs to go. Unless Kane is frustrated with certain teammates I think it’s the coaching/system.
Josi just walked up the middle bc the D men didn’t know who’s man it was. Glad I turned this on to watch the 3rd period poop show. Any Hawk look good tonight besides Lehner? - bhawks2241
Bowman fired the 2nd winningest coach in NHL history for a 33yr old with one season of AHL coaching experience.
Bowman assembled this roster. Anisimov isn’t an All-Star, but from what we’ve seen of Smith, I don’t know why you make that trade.
How can you fire Colliton and not Bowman too?? |

By 2027 they'll have the system down.
Time to swing the ax swiftly. Just like brimstone he won't even feel it. Just do it. Colliton is a joke a coach. |

My Kirby Dach meter was at 95% he was staying in Chicago.
It's now at about 70% that he stays.
We'll see if he can get it going this weekend but only played an uneventful 12 mins tonight.
Curious to see if Colliton ramps up his usage soon to see what the kid really has before they make a decision. |

The good news is the Hawks outhit Nashville 19-11. That's what some have wanted for years. |

Whoever is calling the shots on the head coach, please let him go. He is terrible. Obviously has lost the room.
Paging Rocky, and while you are at fire Shovel Face too. |

Think about who would WANT to come here.
Team has no cap space, and no assets to move but the ones you want to keep.
Core players that have big salaries and nothing left in the tank (except Kane).
And in McD a guy who knows nothing about hockey who is the GMs boss.
Only going to attract loser coaches.

Bowman can go, but not because he traded the poster child of mediocrity Anisimov. He sucks. No one wanted him, that's why all he got was a bum like Zach Smith, because that was his value.
So lets say we keep him? Then what? NOT A DAMN bit of difference. Bowman should be let go for poor contracts, bad trades to shed salary and failed draft picks, IF YOU want to fire him, NOT because he traded a 35 point center stump. |

BLOW IT UP!! Colliton and Bowman are the first offerings to the angry hockey gods!
Then begin the difficult task of revamping the roster. |

It's dumb to keep him up. Send him to JRs, save a year and start a rebuild asap. |

He’s too weak. It’s obvious to me that he’s a boy playing with men. The skill and read is there, he just needs to get stronger.

LOL really. I didn't see 11 Nashville hits because as you said you can't get hits if you have the puck.

If there's a problem in the locker room, send him down instead of exposing him to the negativity. He's not going to be a difference maker on this year's team.
