This organization has become a Clown Show. Colliton has lost this team completely. Not sure if it was the bag skate or this Seabrook fiasco, but this road trip should be the end of this mess. What a sad state the Chicago Blackhawks now are.

Bowman can go, but not because he traded the poster child of mediocrity Anisimov. He sucks. No one wanted him, that's why all he got was a bum like Zach Smith, because that was his value.

So lets say we keep him? Then what? NOT A DAMN bit of difference. Bowman should be let go for poor contracts, bad trades to shed salary and failed draft picks, IF YOU want to fire him, NOT because he traded a 35 point center stump.

My Kirby Dach meter was at 95% he was staying in Chicago.

It's now at about 70% that he stays.

We'll see if he can get it going this weekend but only played an uneventful 12 mins tonight.

Curious to see if Colliton ramps up his usage soon to see what the kid really has before they make a decision.

If it looks like the team will continue to play like this should the Hawks keep Dach around and subject him to a season of poor team efforts? Maybe it's not about being ready or not, but more about the impact the season would have on him.

Another positive to this year, Tyler:

Lehner gives good post-game interviews. Pulls no punches. (his teammates probably hate him, but good for the fans)

He’s too weak. It’s obvious to me that he’s a boy playing with men. The skill and read is there, he just needs to get stronger.

He needs to goto Juniors tomorrow AM. Period, but Hawks propaganda ministry will keep bullpoopting its fans. The best thing for Dach and the future is to let him go back to Juniors and build up his strength. He's a big kid with potential, but was a rag doll in the NHL.

That's the one you're going to focus on? His other trades were pretty good. Everyone's time comes and I have no problem moving on from Bowman if it makes the team better.

I've been watching the Blackhawks' game at my own pace from home, cutting clipping and tracking some stats. I'm only through two periods, but I don't think I've seen many worse games from the Hawks since I've been on the beat.

been some bad ones in the last few years but this one is certainly in the team picture...

It's dumb to keep him up. Send him to JRs, save a year and start a rebuild asap.

Bowman did make some good trades, but this coach has no business patrolling NHL benches. Cut bait now. He's not some sort of genius coach. He'll be coaching in Saskatoon in 3 years. Cut bait now, get a proven coach to command respect from the veteran guys, that's my main issue with Stan because I like a lot of his off season moves.

LOL, really. Anisimov would have scored in those 7 games....guess? A GOAL? Could have made..no difference or no difference.

They need to worry about Lehner and Kane.

This is not meant to bash Toews but the Hawks had to have a lot of things go right to have a successful year and at the top of the list was that Toews had to play as well as he did last season and not as poorly as he did the couple seasons before. Through 11 games he has not played even close to how well he played last season. The fact is that without Toews playing like a #1 center the Hawks have no shot to have a successful season. Period.

Again, it's not just Toews - the Hawks needed a lot of things to go their way and so far the only thing on the list that is in the positive column is goaltending. Even with the PK doing a little better lately, they're still bad and the PP is even worse. The forwards playing better defense is marginally better but not enough to win games against good teams. The new players have been OK but nothing exceptional to the point they're difference makers. Kane, Cat and Strome can't get off the dime and even though the other potential top-6 forwards have shown a few flashes they haven't established anything yet.

But even if a bunch of those things have been better - without Toews being the "good Toews" - forget about it. How many elite team don't have an elite #1 center? Without the good Toews - we don't have one.

Thank God that game is over.

This has been a frustrating start to the Blackhawks season.

Knew they would have their ups-and-downs but looks like mostly downs with not much hope for ups in the near future.

I'll try to search for some positives to dwell on for tomorrow's blog but don't hold your breathe.

We expected a season of growing pains, but all we're left with is the pain without the growth. Losing is one thing, but the way the team is losing is embarrassing.

Yep, crap team, but at least we do have 3 Cups since 2010. How many Cups do you have? Is the answer less than 1? Yes it is, you lose fool. The Hawks suck, your team is better, way to go. Lift a banner.
