Asset Management wise - Lind, Jasek, Macewen(sick) are the only waiver exempt guys - but in terms of who deserves to be up - Boucher, Sven, Goldy, Bailey - but I'd say there's more of a chance they get claimed now if sent back down.
I don't think it would hurt Lind to get a game or two - Brooks_Light
I think when it is an injury players can be called up for 10 games or 30 days without needing to face waivers. Not sure. |

Currently Canucks are the hottest team in the NHL last 10 games are 8-1-1 |

Googled it, seems like that’s correct.
When a player clears waivers and is sent down and then is called up again, he does not have to clear waivers to be sent down again unless he has played ten games or has been "up" for 30 days.
So, depending on how long he’s out... a game or two call up Lind or Zac for a cup of coffee? Longer than that, Sven? |

Wonder who gets the call up from the Comets today? I would leave Sven down there so as not to disrupt the team and call up Bailey to replace Ferkland - VANTEL
What's up with Ferland? |

I take a different stance . I leave Sven down there and keep other GMs guessing his value instead of coming here doing nothing and sending his value to zero again.
I would also let Lind continue to grow . I would bring up Bailey or Perron seeing Zack is sick. |

There must be some kinda rule to prevent teams from doing this over and over again - otherwise you could manipulate it right? |

That’s a big assumption he does nothing. Could also go the other way, especially with how the Canucks are scoring, he comes up and pockets a few and his value goes up. It’s a gamble.
The Canucks are also on a hot streak, so bringing up an AHL plug to put directly into the lineup might be not the best for the team. If they were just going to sit in the press box that’d be a different matter. |

I think it's too early for him.
If you can do an emergency call up I'd go with Bailey. |

It is not that big of an assumption , I have watched him for the last 4 years.
Gaudette will be going in . The call up will probably be in the press box. That is my guess.

It'd be good for him to be around the team and get a sense of the travel/life for a week or two, maybe get in a game. It's too early for him to be a regular or make an impact but that's not the idea. |

If he doesn't have to play, sure. If he got forced into a game I think it'd be tough for him. I know Gaudette will be playing ahead of him but you never know what could happen next game and with a back to back situation, there wouldn't be time to bring anyone else in. |

Watching OJ last night you can see the Comets are grooming him. He has improved his play in each of the last three games.
They are putting him out on the PK and PP . He is a very smart passer . He is starting to engage a little more with the body.
He is starting to get more confident and he is starting to climb the charts. Comets have a very good D group , better than I thought. OJ is starting to look like a number 5 pick finally.
He has also gone from -3 to +1 in the last three games. |

Forgot about Gaudette. My bad.
Baer has put up decent numbers, enough to get a goal or two on a call up. He’s not going to light it up, but could definitely increase his value. |

Just my opinion but I would not disrupt the Comets to bring up a 13 th forward.
I would let Lind continue to develop he is starting to find his groove and let him keep it going.
Reward Bailey Perron Graovac or Zack so they can earn the big money but let the team continue the momentum |

I think it depends on how long Ferland and Motte are out for. Another week, sure, bring up a fill in. But a few or a month, the Canucks will need a body that they know can play at this level.
And Utica has a ton of players, they’re cycling in vets, so losing one player isn’t going to kill that momentum. |
