I'm sure Keith will teach him his masterful one handed poke check that avoids any form of contact, especially in front of the net. - Hawkytalk
Yeh, that poke check really sucked while he was winning the Conn Smythe, logging 28 minutes a night & scoring the game winner vs. Tampa Bay.
He clearly has no understanding of how to play defense in the NHL, and should concentrate on listening to posters on hockey fan boy sites for advice.
Good lord! |

So when Murphy comes back and boqvist is playing well what happens? Trade and if so who goes to where abd for what? Gust or seabrook sit or send boqvist to Rockford? |

Murphy return means that Gus can be employed in a more strategic role. His TOI may vary depending upon the flow and the score. Best case scenario is to generate that is produce tangible results.
The trade value increases and moves closer to it's higher level which Gus attained following his attractive offensive output last season.
This happens with Boqvist in Rockford learning and practicing/performing at the level he should be left at for this season.
This all seems rather obvious |

Agree just looking for different perspectives and opinions. To me boqvist still should be in rockford this seems like move of desperation in my opinion. |

There isn’t a plan and that’s frustrating. Maybe Boqvist is up with the Blackhawks because Dach is supposedly staying in Chicago and they don’t want to be seen as playing favorites with their top two prospects? It’s a mess. |

Watching Florida, they are relentless and making Detroit look like a joke. Q is a proven, quality coach, great job to get rid of him. |

There may not be a plan - there may be one we can’t see.
This team has not started out well - and the only offensive force on the blue line has been very unproductive. Might as well “reward” a high draft pick with an audition of a game or two or three and see how he does.
Assuming he doesn’t get physically destroyed (which could happen, TBH) - a good thing for his development - he’ll go back to Rockford with a better idea of how the game is played in The Show, and what he has to work on to get back. |

Was skiing at Keystone today so haven’t back-read the thread. What are the lines/pairs tonight? Crow in the cage?

Why doesnt Colliton just put the "C" on Kampf already
And they should have waiting to signed Debrincat. Probably could have driven his price down more playing him as they have this year |

Wish they would put Boqvist on the 1st PP unit |

Without Boqvist and Sikura (one game suspension) the Icehogs are getting shutout nearing end of period two
I am concerned when Sikura is out that the forwards career path does not develop well. The Icehogs should roll four lines with defined roles. By this I mean they are quite young and the scoring threat point producer in Sikura means a lot Whom else might rack up a point per game? Maybe Kurachev eventually. But with top line guys someone like Hagel develops better when they have a balanced line. Then they are better equipped to generate & produce some offensive output.
I await AEL_FOX and or others to assess particularly after a descent data sample of playing time has passed (minimum 20 gp).. |

He was jumping in the play with full possession and Nylander turned it over. |

Lol Crawford...
The amount of $$ tied up in 50, 7, and 19 is staggering.
Bowman has put this team in a major pickle. He deserves all the criticism he gets. |
