I think the Hawks will put forth their best effort of the season tonight and crush the Ducks 5-1. Boqvist will score his first NHL goal tonight too.

Is it really an asset if he can't play defence, lost offensive impact, and now serves as the poster boy for how not to play 2 on 1's (made worse by giving them up as the 'quarterback' on powerplays)?

In that case it can be argued that it is actually liability management instead.

I completely agree with your point. Stan should have traded Gus either at the draft or in the off season when Gus value was at its peak. Sure he had a breakout year but his history showed Gus is awful defensively.


Another blunder on the front office for not making moves sooner to rebuild the youth and depth.

Also Chicago isn't in a position to pay Gus next year nor would it make sense to offer Gus a contract with all the moves just made and 2 aging for a guys and the defensive prospects in the system

The hawks are trying to replicate st Louis , head into January dead last and go on a run and make the playoffs then win it all. Lol

Chicago has a aging core who father time has finally caught up with all of them and contracts that are weighing Chicago down.

Kane not producing is a shocker but I have to believe that has more to do with a head coach and coaching staff that is lost and doesn't have the necessary vision or experience to put together lines that actually have chemistry and keep the lines , his in game mixing and different lineups each game shows a lack of coaching experience.

Tyler this is horrible to watch close to 100 shots against in two games the coaches and players look confused and out of sorts. Something has to give, a big trade, bowman is relieved of his duties or jc. Right now the season is on life support and going to be pronounce dead soon if things do not turn around. Somebody has to be held accountable for this disaster.

Interesting that Gus is now on probably PP #3. The only reason I would be playing him is to hopefully snooker some other GM to give us any ole draft choice for him.

Sorry Taylor, but absolutely disagree. You play Mitch through the rest of the season. Daniel might win another game or two maybe not.

I hope they have a pretty good gauge on what they have with Mitch, but playing Chase does nothing to help solve the QB situation going forward.

Accountable? Lots of blame to go around.
But mngt wont have the balls to trade Toews or fire Bowman or do something to significantly change the culture .Bunch of ban aid solution like the last 4 years which has done nothing. We are a last place team...nuff said.

I'm not opposed to Stan being launched...but I've been hearing this BS mantra from the torchbearers and pitchfork wielders pretty much since I've been posting here.
