Nylander looking good once again. 7pts so far through 12 games. Appears he’s a keeper and that trade wasn’t as bad as well all thought.

Toews looking more like himself. Able to hold onto the puck and actually make things happen. More please.

He’s been good at both ends of the ice.

It appears that the trade was good for both clubs.

Meh. Still not impressed. Looks great with time and space. Looks panicked when things get tight.

Idk...I at least see effort vs the "floater' rep that followed him here. Still young and developing.

Effort yes. Still not sure he doesn’t belong in RFD.

He’s been literally one of our top 3 forwards all season.

Put the pipe down.

Much better clearing the dzone, too - although there have been moments....

Forwards in better position to get the first pass out.

Not perfect, but better.

Seriously?

Did you watch Seabrook on that last shift ?
He should not play consecutive games. Last night ok, tonight, old slow and looks worn out.
I'll take the kid and his legs right now. He'll develop just fine up here. Manage his TOI properly.

Good one.

He makes a lot of bad, rushed passes when he’s under pressure. Looks great in the open with room to operate.

If he keeps throwing hand grenades at teammates feet in the defensive zone, eventually it’s going to cost his team.

2nd pp looks better too. You're onto something with the Kane thing.

Let me put it this way:

You’ve gotta go WAAAAAY out of your way to find negatives in Nylanders performance as a Hawk so far this season. He’s been great. He’s provided the skills we all knew he had AND been a pleasant surprise in all other areas of the game.

It’s no surprise he’s earned a spot on the top line as well as PP time.

When you add in the fact that he’s already developed for a few years now in the NHL, and by most measures has been one of our best and most consistent forwards all season....it’s utterly ridiculous to point out a few sloppy passes and come to the conclusion that you’re still not sold on him belonging in the league/think he might need a stint in the AHL. UTTERLY RIDICULOUS.
