Lehner is an absolute monster. He’s not the product of anyone’s system. He’s a sensational athlete and easily one of the best goalies in the NHL right now.

I hope they plan to give Dach more playing time, and better linenates as the season progresses. Bc Dach playing under 10 minutes a night with Carpenter and Shaw is a (frank)ing waste

I disagree - much better (with some issues) at getting the first pass out - forwards in better position to support the defensemen. A couple too many long shifts in the dzone, but better than it has been.

Lehner standing on his head only gets you so far when you struggle to score like they have. More numbers for you...

Dach has averaged 11:20 minutes for the season. Bust my balls over 1:20 seconds a game, but I guess that’s how you get your kicks. He should be seeing 15+ minutes a night or it’s foolish to waste a contract year for a Cap strapped team Far from Title Contention.

Loved Boqvist’s game tonight, and I like the Kids + Toews PP unit.

According to JC once the Hawks start working hard as a team and become more responsible in the defensive end and with the puck and in transition he believes they will begin to string some wins together. I actually believe that but this team has to be able to skate for 60 minutes of hockey and to my eye they are right around 42 to 48 minutes right now

I'll go out on a limb that you'd be crying that they're feeding the kid to the wolves if he were getting 18 minutes a night.

And, if you have a solid point, you don't need to exaggerate. Twice he's been under 10 minutes. Five times over. And you say "keep playing him under 10 minutes a night..." Reality is that he's generally in the middle six in TOI. But that seems too reasonable....
