I’m indirectly responding to Feanor, whom you agreed with. I think he’s wrong.

Yes, last time they broke that line up the entire team stopped scoring.

Juggle the other three lines all you want, but when something's working out as well as that, you mess it with at your own peril.

Hard to disagree at all with that thought and I don't. The issue though is that you aren't going to get far in this league as a top line heavy team. They need to figure out how to get 3 good lines. The JVR/Giroux/Voracek trio just can't seem to get it going.

i'd argue he's very gifted with good puck skills, he should be a Center. At times last year he looked like the fastest guy on the team.

And pathetic. We have to do something about our WRs. Djax is a lost cause, and at this point, I've put my conspiracy hat on and think this whole season was a long-con by him to play the Eagles as a little revenge

I'd give the Toronto lines a couple more games before deciding anything. It seems like they want Frost to stay down and develop as a center.

Was at the Phantoms game last night as well and Ratcliffe really showed something on that shift Bill wrote about...got hit, went down in clear pain, got back up, took a shot to his right skate and was now in more pain, then gutted out the shift and tried to block yet another shot before heading to the bench. Impressive grit. Was playing with some sand as well last night.

All the points made in this comments section about Frost are spot on. He turns it on and off, and you wonder if that kind of approach will win him much favor with the coaching staff in Philly. There's no way he fits in a 4th line role imo.

Ratcliffe was clearly throwing the body around, playing a different style than in Junior, a fourth line type of game. Frost didn't look interested out there, was a bit disappointing because he clearly had the most talent. Sound tigers looked horrible.

I have 0 desire to break up Coots, TK and OL.

Prior to the injury that was a line that generates chances almost every shift.

If other players on this team were at that level then you can break it up and not pay the price but right now I think they have something with that line that warrants their staying together.

From what fletcher has said it’s his play away from the puck and in the d zone. Then he will be up I’m guessing.

Bill, where does Matthew Strome fit in this equation of prospects. He’s had movement between the ECHL and the AHL recently and has fallen off the radar. Would you consider his skating skill still the main issue holding him back from being a future bottom 6 forward?

At this point, they have no deep threat. They should have done something at the TDL. A deep threat would really open up the run game and short pass option ( run game did well yesterday, but has been hit or miss in some games).

I really wish we made a move on Emanuel Sanders. Supposedly we were in the mix and there was a rumor we called TB about Mike Evans. One can dream of having Mike Evans!

They just need to forecheck a little more in the neutral zone.

Yes, it's still his No. 1 issue. A bit more ECHL time, if he continues to move between leagues, wouldn't hurt him.

Agreed. Bringing up Morgan Frost or getting Giroux back on the wing isn’t a good reason to break up your most productive line. It doesn’t make sense.
- SuperSchennBros

then what would the other lines look like w oskar-coots-tk set in stone and g on the left wing?

Still a lot of combinations they haven't tried yet with the other 9 forwards. Lines with Farabee at LW, Hayes at RW, moving Rubstov up to 3C, etc.

Messing with the Coots line (again) should be the last resort.

I don't see it making much sense at all to move Hayes to RW. I have doubts that Rubtsov is a 3C in this league.
