The Habs remind of me of Wily Coyote. The Leafs Of Road Runner. Always one step ahead. Beep Beep!

Habs skated circles around the Queefs twice this year already. You are one point ahead with a game in hand but okay keep drinking the Kool Aid it'll be bitter sweet drinking those annual tears in April

Se we just wont mention the The Blue Jackets (who have been rumored to be looking at Puljujarvi in the past) with the only Finnish GM, and Finnish Players like Jonis Korpisalo, Markus Nutivaara, Markus Hannikainen on the Roster...Yes, those guys aren't big names (Nutivaara will be one day..solid D-man) but would surely help in a transition. do some research.

Sabres insted in Tobias Rieder...

ya, ok.
27, L4 player who got waived after posting 1/0/1 pts in 11 games...on pace for 8 points this season.
Ya, that's what the Sabres are looking for.

Good Lord.

That is a ridiculous argument. 11 games is a small sample size. Most NHL players have a stretch similar to that in their careers. If he happens to get 2 points in his next NHL game his point pace jumps to 20. Tobias Reider is a low risk move, he has a small cap hit on a 1 year deal and to get him. If he finds the right home he could be a good role player on a team.

I have no ide what EK is talking about, given the fact Rieder is on a 700k 1 year deal so money isnt the issue. The only reason to not take him off waivers would be to get rid of a contract to fit him under the 50 limit.

Buff can't even be traded. He's either on the IR or Winnipeg is allowed to terminate the contract which they want to do, for not reporting. Those are the only two scenarios unless I've missed something in the last few days? He literally, cannot be traded while he is injured...... He's either just had surgery or is having surgery any day now.......

Yep, thats exactly what the Wild need! Another aging player late in his career coming off injury with an extensive cap hit! Not sure that computes...

Buffalo is apparently really interested in Rieder, but $700K is too steep for them. Maybe Calgary can eat $100K and work out a trade. Money is definitely the stumbling block here. Nothing to do with roster spots.

I think it computes perfectly Gump! If we did the smart thing and passed him up, people would think something was the matter. It is Minnesota tradition after all

Rumours are not predictions. Rumours are things we hear that have no facts to back it up.

I heard richc111 steals from charities. It is a currently circulating story or report of uncertain or doubtful truth. That is a rumour.
