IF we could just band together and get a Dolfans win this week would alleviate a lot of pressure. |

Yeah, because our offense looks terrible. Every other team in the league looks way more efficient on offense. Heck even fitz vs the bills looked good |

I know I'm not going to change your mind, but the Bills scored on all 3 of their drives in the first half (technically they had 4, but they kneeled it out with seconds left in the half). Then they parked the bus, as teams with the lead tend to do. I dont think it's anywhere near as bleak as you're saying. Are they elite offensively? Absolutely not. But it's at least competent, and I would argue better than competent |

is it ok to "park the bus" in a 2 score game? |

I think it's defensible because Washington hadn't scored a touchdown in 2 games. The Bills were up by 11 and said "come get us." |

You could be right, we did that vs the giants and still won the game. I won’t disagree with that.
But maybe. Show some aggressive force and score some points.
I Just want the offense to look good and have some flow to it. It’s been weirdly and very up and down all year.
I watch a lot of red zone after the bills game. Just watching other teams, We just look so bad.
Garden mindchew has a few 300 yard games and actually moves the ball
David Jones has a few nice passing games
Kyler Murray has had some nice games
It’s almost painful to watch the bills go downfield.

The offense is capable of nice drives, they can move the ball, it's finishing and not killing themselves with penalties, they have to be able to put 7 on the board not just 3. |

sounds like you know what else he is doing...care to share.
I so much look forward to his analysis on Prospects but nothing is posted on The Athletic, and as mentioned his website is way outdated. |

John Brown dropped a 30 and 20 yard passes literally in his hands.
If he catches those, the Bills average 10 yards per pass attempt yesterday. They still averaged 8.
Patrick Mahomes averages 9 yards per attempt.
It’s not remotely as bleak, but they are playing really safe with a turnover prone QB

Everyone always points out season to season improvement for Josh Allen, but what about within the season? Because remember, he's only made 20 starts.
First quarter of the season he was 3-1, but with 3TD's and 6 picks and a rating of 69.6. Second quarter, he has 7TD's and 1 INT. QB rating of 98.4. Over that time his completion percentage has also gone up from 60.3 to 61.6, proving that he is consistently getting more accurate. His yardage has gone down, but mostly that is just because he had 19 fewer attempts, and his yards/attempt has only dropped minimally.
I mean, I have no idea if he is ever going to be great, but he is showing improvement while winning. All this while I think everyone agrees the bills have a real lack of talent on offense.
Considering the offense is lacking in talent, the QB is learning on the job, and we still won by 15, how much better do people expect them to look? |

Being more accurate, one would believe a QB's completion percentage would increase. I get that, and analysts are constantly on this path as well.
But using Completion Percentage to prove accuracy is not accurate in and of itself. A QB could be just as inaccurate, placing balls off-mark yet having the pass being completed. Like a QB who constantly throws behind the receiver in a crossing route would hardly be considered accurate, yet a good receiver could make outstanding catch after outstanding catch and the completion rate would be high.
Being accurate is placing the ball where it needs to be and on-time in the delivery. That is different than completing a pass.
It is however commonly stated as you have above. |

I wouldn’t call that a circus catch. It was a nice grab but the throw was on the money to the sidelines.
I don’t think Allen is great. I think he’s average with game breaking ability.

Well Allen had fumble fingers Zay Jones and Charles Clay, and half-assed effort from KB last year, and the national football media had no problem tearing Allen apart for his completion percentage, so I'm inclined to give him credit for increasing his % with a group of reasonable receivers.
This is still not even a top-16 group of receivers. No one took credit away from Brady when he was throwing to Randy Moss. I'm not going to take credit away from Allen when he's throwing to John Brown and Cole Beasley - who are good, dont get me wrong - but not elite
And my mea culpa - I didn't think he could increase his accuracy, but he has |

Two in nine games.
Allen put up monster stats in garbo times against the eagles.
The Bills are benefiting from luck, and the softest schedule I've seen. |

I would love to see your revisionist historic self go back in time and see what you had to say in 2013 after the Seahawks surrendered 24 points and needed overtime at home against a 4-12 Tampa Bay Buccaneers team, or 34 points on the road at Indianapolis.
Like Bandit said, it's the NFL. Even the best defenses get gashed at some point in a 16 game season. Last night was the exception, not the rule. - buffalofan19
The “rule” is a 9 game sample size so I don’t think getting blown out by the Ravens is the “exception”. Could really just be the fact that the Pats finally played an offence that isn’t completely inept.
When the Pats do it for a full 16 game season and win the Super Bowl then they can be compared to the Bears, Ravens, Seahawks, and Broncos. |
