But the vacation is great. I stockpile a bunch of vacay days for the holidays, and it's the tits. Several good meals, and I actually like my family. So it's good. But the day of travel, gotta go to north Buffalo and back to Clarence for two dinners.. just... Pass.

Id rather have another week off in the summer and go do something in the nice weather.
Only thing would be being able to watch the bowl games ..... which i can do while at work

its a shorter commute for me then in the past.

i work mostly construction so that time of year is dead for me and i take the time from christmas eve to new years day off and do nothing. i don't visit my parent in WNY we do that at Thanksgiving and my in laws live 1200 feet away, its a matter of whether i should drive home when i leave their house at 11 pm after drinking since noon..

Christmas and snow is fine ..... it’s the coworkers or friends during the summer that said “ I can’t wait for fall (or winter)”. Now that the snow has come, and those same people are crying about it.

My coworker turned up our heat one day to 78 degrees in the office and now she’s cold. She wanted this! I laid down the law and put it down to 70. But still ridiculous.

Okay end of mini rant.

so at work got those huge windows...... those by the windows crank up the heat while those of us not by the windows can wear shorts and t shirts cause they crank the heat up

Sometimes you can still golf a round
Drinking is less frowned upon
Always know your getting a 4 day weekend where I work
No decorations I have to put up
NO terrible music

the list goes on and on.... but have fun with that NBA game while I watch the Williams stomp Dem Boyz this year

-I find Christmas and Thanksgiving to be equally delicious with plentiful leftovers from
both.
-The football is nice from a nostalgia standpoint, but I wouldn't lose sleep if it
disappeared. NBA is garbage. I wouldn't contribute a dime to a corporation that
openly caves to China.
- I don't find buying or receiving presents to be stressful. I actually prefer giving gifts.
- Church is a personal choice unless you're a kid I guess?
- Does that football game happen in Clarence at a certain park?
- Golf is for the olds. (sorry olds) Plus I live in San Diego, weather is not a factor.
- Drinking is less frowned on? Huh?
- I get whatever days I want off, whenever I want them off.
- I love the decorations. I do groan a bit the morning I set aside to do it, not gonna
lie.
- I like the music too, and I watch all the bad Christmas specials with the kids!

Halloween through New Years is my favorite part of the year. I go all out on all three; Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and to a lesser extent New Years. I spend all the time I can with my family, and I love, love, love watching all their happy faces celebrating (and preparing) for those days. Pure gold.
