DOnt forget is the best meal in a long time and there is more left overs
3 games of football what does Christmas have? the NBA? pass
NO church mass
Annual neighborhood football game
Sometimes you can still golf a round
Drinking is less frowned upon
Always know your getting a 4 day weekend where I work
No decorations I have to put up
NO terrible music

the list goes on and on.... but have fun with that NBA game while I watch the Williams stomp Dem Boyz this year

I guess i could find a place in Alden to rent an RV and do that.. i ain't driving one 400 miles for that. then i could just take my dog too and not board it. all kinds of profit..

agreed.. i have gotten pretty drunk on both.. but typically more so on Christmas. There are stories one that involves a body slam and my kids screaming that i am going to get hurt..

Oh and i forgot, my wifes birthday is the 20th so add that stress right on up

This is the greatest thing ever written here. I was just saying the other day "Christmas should be every other year", but I like your idea better. Among other things, it's just too taxing on our family income.

it isn't stressful my wife does 90% of it.. all i really gotta do is get her something and my parents. my parents get tickets to a sabres game.. done and done

Parents are simple, GC to any nice restaurant is always appreciated. But, then again, my parents aren't billionaires that are used to being waited on 24/7.

My parents are hard as hell

I will say it has gotten better with having a child. But also being in a better paying job and not being as tight on money helps a lot. In the past had some situations where I was closer to paycheck to paycheck. So for me the financial freedom now is less stressful than years past

Christmas is the best of all holidays, and it's not remotely close.

For Christ sake...Christmas is a awesome. I'm hearing complaints about the weather??? Imagine winter without Christmas in the middle of it.
