If you could place Upstate and Cpt in the van as well it would be much appreciated. |

I agree. I think Ross is quicker on the fore check and make defenders pay. Honestly think Ross is a better skater than MDC. |

Shouldn't be too hard to get Cpt into an unmarked van. He's been using a "free candy" one to pick up girls for years |

Just wanted to throw this out there but I think for me there are 3 players who have really stepped up their play this year. Beau, Toews and Pelech. They have been very noticeable and in a very good way. Which has helped the Islanders build/grow on last year.
One other player who always gives it 150% who has obviously worked on a aspect of his game that was a deficiency for every center for the last few years was Casey. He has been a beast in the FO dot and the team really needed that.
Just some observations I have hadst, fire away.

Hard to argue 7. Beau, Toews, and Pelech have played very well. I like Pulock is starting to find his offensive game again. I always liked Casey and it was always the issue with Casey remaining healthy and when the playoffs come around, Casey seems to lose something after going full steam the entire year. |

Ryans got to find a way to get the puck on net. He frustrates the piss out of me shooting wide or getting his shoot blocked all the time. His whole game this year just doesn't look as sharp as last. Hope he finds his stride we need him.
Casey plays a hard game and I don't think it will ever change. Hopefully he can last the full year and what ever PO ride they have if of course they make the PO's |

Pulock does need to work on hitting the net. I like Pulock's game though and he makes a very good pairing with Pelech. Casey I think needs to pick his spots more since he does not have the size to play that physical game all year. I'd also like to see Cal and Martin pick their spots as well. |

Pelech/Pulock tandem has been great. Don't think anyone can disagree. I just think Pulock isn't as sharp. Not saying he's playing bad just not as well as we have become accustomed to, where Pelech has just really grown. He's just really defensively sound. Nothing flashy but gets it done imo.
On MC2, Yeah it would be nice if those guys could turn it off and on but they play a grind it out in your face game and its hard to flip it on and off. Hopefully they can stay healthy. |

When Pelech was first brought up, he was terrible. I think the consensus opinion here was "oh well, just another one of Garth's worthless draft picks." But under Trotz, he has become the Islanders' most reliable defensive defenseman. Like you said, nothing flashy about his game, he's just doing whatever he needs to to keep the opponents from scoring. |
